This time (2025) NDA has won 202 seats in the assembly elections. Accordingly, it has been decided that this time no one from RJD will be able to go to Rajya Sabha. Two seats will remain with JDU and two will go to BJP. In fact, Jitan Ram Manjhi said in his speech during a function in Gayaji last Sunday that we had asked for two seats in the Lok Sabha and got one seat, now we are not getting even a single seat in the Rajya Sabha. Two JDU and two BJP and one seat is going to LJP Ram Vilas. He told his son Santosh Suman to make up his mind on this, why will we not get it? If we don’t get it then we will break the alliance. After this statement of Manjhi, a controversy has come to light regarding a Rajya Sabha seat in NDA.

According to the current discussion, Chirag Paswan seems to have the upper hand. Talking about numbers, Chirag Paswan has 19 MLAs, Jitan Ram Manjhi has five MLAs. Manjhi is creating pressure so that if he does not get a Rajya Sabha seat, then he should get a seat in the Legislative Council. Dhirendra Kumar said that two seats will remain with BJP, in such a situation it is not necessary that BJP should keep both the seats with itself. Can give one seat to his colleague. Most of the discussion is about Chirag Paswan.

On the other hand, it was also said that it is not necessary that Nitin Nabin should get one of the two seats in Rajya Sabha, there is no such rule nor is there any pressure. He did not resign. It is not mandatory for the National President to go to Rajya Sabha or Lok Sabha. There is no problem if he is a member of any state.

This time in Bihar Assembly elections, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) contested on 6 seats and registered a resounding victory on 5 seats. Despite this, none of the winning MLAs of the party got a place in the new cabinet of Nitish Kumar. Still, party chief Jitan Ram Manjhi seems happy and the reason for this is his son Santosh Suman becoming a minister once again.

5 HAM MLAs win, but no one gets ministerial post
The 5 seats won by Hindustani Awam Morcha in this election include-

Santosh Suman became minister for the third time
Even though the winning MLAs did not get a place in the new government of Nitish Kumar, Jitan Ram Manjhi’s son Santosh Kumar Suman has once again been made a minister. This will be his third term. Suman is the national president of HAM and also a member of Bihar Legislative Council.

Why is Santosh Suman important?
Santosh Suman is considered a leader who is educated and does politics with planning. He has done MA in Political Science from Delhi University. He has passed UGC-NET. He has done PhD from Magadh University. Before coming into politics, he was a lecturer and social worker. While being a minister, he did many works in the Scheduled Caste and Tribe Welfare Department. By resigning from the Nitish cabinet in 2023, he also gave a strong political message on the issue of independent identity of the party.

HAM’s small performance, but big political role

The swearing-in ceremony of the new government in Bihar is likely to be held in Patna on November 20. Along with PM Modi, many top leaders and Union ministers of NDA can participate in this. 5-6 new faces from BJP-JDU can be seen in the cabinet

Jyoti Manjhi, the NDA candidate from Barachatti assembly seat in Gayaji district and the current HAM MLA from here, has been attacked. HAM’s preparation to contest elections on 100 seats

Party president Jitan Ram Manjhi had initially demanded 15 seats and warned that if they did not get the required share, HAM could contest 100 seats alone. After finally adjusting the alliance, NDA gave 6 seats to HAM, which is less than Manjhi’s demand.

This deal gives mixed signals for HAM. Happy to get 6 seats, but Manjhi’s expectations and pressure are also no less. From the very beginning, the party has contested elections with the aim of creating a political identity and its aim was to become a recognized party even after losing. With this seat-division, HAM will not only have to take strategic decisions at the regional level, but it will also have to show that it is more capable. Bihar election dates have been announced, but till now neither the grand alliance nor the distribution of seats has been done between the parties included in the NDA. Total 7.43 crore voters in Bihar

CEC Gyanesh Kumar said that there are a total of 7 crore 43 lakh voters in Bihar. These include 3.92 crore male voters, 3.50 crore female voters and 1,725 ​​third gender voters. Apart from this, there are about 7.2 lakh disabled voters in Bihar, while 4.04 lakh senior citizens are above 85 years of age.
