David Dhawan directed and Varun Dhawan starrer film ‘Hai Jawaani To Ishq Hona Hai’ reached the theaters on June 5. It clashed with Ram Charan’s Peddi and Bobby Deol’s Bandar. How much has ‘Hai Jawani To Ishq Hona Hai’ earned on the 8th day?
There is a huge crowd at the ticket window due to Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’, Ananya Pandey’s ‘Chand Mera Dil’, ‘Bandar’ and other recently released films. But ‘Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ is getting the benefit of 50% offer on tickets since its release. Although it is still not earning bumper, but it has maintained its pace and with this it is collecting notes in crores every day.

According to the early trend report of trade website Sacknilk, ‘Hai Jawaani To Ishq Hona Hai’ earned Rs 2.60 crore (net) in India on Thursday, taking its total domestic earning to Rs 36.85 crore. The film opened with Rs 7.50 crore and earned the same amount on Saturday also. Its earnings improved on Sunday and it earned Rs 9 crore. On Monday, after the expected decline in earnings, ‘Hai Jawaani To Ishq Hona Hai’ earned Rs 3.50 crore. There was a slight increase on Tuesday and it earned 3.85 crores, but on Wednesday the earning fell again and it earned only 2.80 crores.

Varun Dhawan’s film ahead of ‘Ikkis’
Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur’s romantic comedy film has been included in the list of top 10 highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2026. On the 7th day of its release, it overtook Agastya Nanda’s ‘Ikkis’, which had earned Rs 36.25 crore nett in India. Now its next target is to surpass ‘Krishnavataram Part 1’ (Rs 38.36 crore). However, from Friday it will also have to compete with the new releases ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’ and ‘Main Vyapar Aagaunga’.
