David Dhawan is in the news these days for his film ‘Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’. In this film, his son Varun Dhawan, Mrinal Thakur and Pooja Hegde will be seen in lead roles. Jimmy Shergill, who is a part of the film, has recently said that his years-old dream of working with David Dhawan has been fulfilled.

Jimmy Shergill expressed happiness
Today the trailer of the film ‘Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ was released. During this time, Jimmy Shergill also attended the trailer launch event, where he expressed his excitement about working with David Dhawan and talked about the fulfillment of his years-old dream.

He said, ‘I came to Bombay in 1992 and I had dreams of becoming a good and serious actor. But even at that time, every month or two, a film of David ji was released and it was a blockbuster. I was always thinking in my mind that if I ever get a chance to work with David ji, then what would happen. And when you desire something from your heart, it also becomes true.

Dream fulfilled after 35-36 years
He further said, ‘Today after 35-36 years I am doing a film with David ji and this experience was amazing. I enjoyed it a lot. During the shooting, I had also told him, David ji, till the time its post-production goes on, start another film. Let us tell you, the film ‘Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ is going to be released in theaters on June 5.

Jimmy Shergill’s career
Talking about Jimmy Shergill’s career, he started his acting career in the year 1996 with the film ‘Maachis’. The superhit film ‘Mohabbatein’ released in 2000 gave him a big recognition in Bollywood. After this he worked in many successful romantic films like ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai’ (2002), ‘Dil Hai Tumhaara’ (2002), and ‘Hum Tum’ (2004).
