Uttarakhand BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt said in his statement that, I do not think that any person from other religion will take bath in Ganga water. Congress is doing appeasement politics by making it an issue. It was also said that, if Ganga Sabha or other religious leaders are saying this then it is their understanding even without saying it.

‘If a Muslim wants to join Sanatan Dharma then there should be no opposition’

At the end of his statement he also said that no Hindu can go to Mecca and Medina because entry is prohibited. He said that it would be nice if a Muslim, after taking bath in Ganga, says that he wants to come to Sanatan. So no one should oppose.

Actually, recently a video of the famous Har Ki Pauri of Haridwar had surfaced in which two youths were roaming in Har Ki Pauri in the costumes of Sheikh. Since this matter came to light, saints and religious leaders had opposed it. He also demanded a ban on the entry of non-Hindus into Har Ki Pauri.

Haridwar is one of the most sacred places of Hindus where lakhs of devotees go every year for bathing in Ganga and worship. Along with this, Ardh Kumbh Mela is also organized here every 6 years. Before the Ardh Kumbh Mela to be held in 2027, a demand is being raised to stop the entry of non-Hindus in Har Ki Pauri and Kumbh Mela area. Amidst the demand to ban the entry of non-Hindus, two youths dressed as Sheikhs were seen walking at Har Ki Pauri, and a crowd gathered there to see them.

There is a gathering of people at Har Ki Pauri to see them and people are even taking selfies with them. Since the video went viral, there has been a flood of funny comments on social media.
