India defeated Oman by 21 runs in the Asia Cup 2025 last Friday. After taking the award, Hardik Pandya said, “I think we showed by performing as a unit. We were examined, there was summer, but everyone played his role well. Now there is another match on 21st, best wishes to everyone.”

India’s first match in Super-4 is going to be held by Pakistan tomorrow. This match will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Let us tell you that earlier in the group match, Team India had crushed Pakistan by 7 wickets.

Hardik Pandya has been out of the Indian Test team for the last about seven years. He last played the Test match against England in the year 2018. He said, “I consider myself a backup fast bowler. After my back surgery, playing Test cricket is a challenge. If I were just a Test player and I had not been a career in white ball cricket, then I could go to the Test and put my back at risk, but I know how important I am in white ball cricket.”

In 2021, Pandya returned to the Test team, but did not get a chance to play in the domestic series against England. In the first phase of IPL 2021, he did not bow down a single ball, which led to questions about his fitness again. For this reason, he was not included in the team for the 2021 World Test Championship Final and then the England Test series.

Pandya made his Test debut against Sri Lanka in the year 2017. During this, he played a total of 11 Test matches. During this, Pandya scored 532 runs at an average of around 32.
