Deliberately switched off phone and caught train to Bihar

According to the police, after getting off the train, Pragya had deliberately switched off her mobile phone (which was the reason why the last location was found near Laksar railway track). After this, she boarded another train from the station itself, which was going towards Bihar. Without telling anyone he traveled till Bihar.

Police found out after 6 days of hard work

Here, husband Manish got scared and lodged a missing report with Laksar GRP and police. Several police teams were examining the tracks, CCTV footage of stations and call details. With the help of technical surveillance and railway network, the police finally succeeded in tracing Pragya’s location and after 6 days of hard work, she was recovered safely from Bihar.

The family heaved a sigh of relief

After Pragya was found safe, her husband Manish and family members living in Kanpur heaved a sigh of relief. After this revelation, the questions being raised on railway safety have also been put to rest, because Pragya was not the victim of any accident, but had changed the train on her own will. The police is now completing the legal process to hand over Pragya to her family.

Statement of SP Dehat Shekhar Chandra Suyal

Disclosing this entire matter, SP Dehat Shekhar Chandra Suyal said that the woman has been recovered safely from Begusarai and her family has been informed about it.

SP said, “The woman had contacted her family through phone yesterday evening from a new number. When we traced the location of that number, it was found to be of Begusarai (Bihar). During police interrogation, the woman (Pragya) said that during the train journey, she had an altercation with her husband, due to which she got angry and left on her own will.”

SP Suyal further said that Pragya is being brought back and after detailed interrogation, all the facts of the case will be fully disclosed. After Pragya was found safe, her family heaved a sigh of relief.
