Haryana Board Exam 2026 : Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has given a big relief news for the students this year. Under the National Education Policy (NEP), now Haryana Board will conduct class 10th and 12th board examinations twice a year. Its purpose is to give students a second opportunity to improve their marks. This rule will be applicable to all secondary, senior secondary and Gurukul Vidyapeeth stream students. According to Board Chairman Pawan Kumar Sharma, this step has been taken to reduce the academic stress of students and give them an opportunity to improve their performance.

Application date for appearing in board exams twice in Haryana

Students who have appeared for the exam in the February-March 2026 session and are not happy with their marks can apply to appear for the second time. For this the board has started the online application process. Applications for this have been started on 4th April 2026 and the last date of application is 10th April 2026. The application fee for each subject is Rs 1000. This opportunity is especially beneficial for students who are lagging behind in one or two subjects or want to improve their grades.

Haryana Board had conducted the examinations of class 10th and 12th from 25 February to 1 April 2026. After this, the work of copy evaluation is going on at a fast pace. Evaluation of copies of class 12th is from 3rd April to 28th April 2026 and evaluation of copies of class 10th is from 2nd April to 24th April 2026. Centers have been set up in different districts for evaluation. For class 10th, there are 75 centers in 22 districts, 6,969 teachers and for class 12th, there are 52 centers, 5,009 teachers. The Board has tried to make the evaluation process completely transparent and time bound.

When will HBSE 10th and 12th result come?

According to Haryana Board, the results of 10th and 12th can be released by the second week of May. After the completion of copy evaluation, the marks of the students will be uploaded directly on the board’s website. Students can check their result and download digital marksheet.
