On Saturday, a speeding truck hit a goods tempo on the Delhi-Alwar road in Haryana’s Nuhan district. In this incident, a three-year-old boy and two women traveling in the goods tempo died while four others were seriously injured. Police gave this information.

According to the police, around 14 people from different villages of Agra district of Uttar Pradesh were returning from a marriage ceremony in Palam, Delhi. All of them were traveling in an open cargo tempo. Police said that at around 2.15 am, when his tempo reached Delhi-Alwar Road in Rojka Meo area, a truck passing at high speed hit it from behind.

According to eyewitnesses, the collision was so strong that the tempo got dragged on the road for several feet. The tempo broke into pieces due to the collision. Some passers-by immediately called the police and ambulance.

Injured referred to AIIMS

Police said that in this accident, 28-year-old Chandni, resident of Pinhat, 19-year-old Ram Kranti, resident of Shamshabad and three-year-old Mridul, resident of Agra died on the spot. Preeti, Archana, four-year-old Tamanna and Ram Niwas were seriously injured. Tamanna was admitted to Nalhar Medical College, while the condition of Preeti, Archana and Ram Niwas was critical and they were referred to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi. Police said that after the accident, the truck driver fled with the vehicle, an FIR has been registered at Rozka-Meo police station.
