The 10th edition of Pakistan Super League is being played. Samiya, wife of Pakistani cricketer Hasan Ali, is coming to the stadium in every match to support her husband and her team.

Hasan Ali is part of the Karachi Kings team in PSL 2025. Hassan and his wife Shamia Arju come to the stadium with children to cheer the team. She also shares photos of it on social media.

30 -year -old Pakistani cricketer Hasan Ali married on 20 August 2019 in Dubai with Samiya Arju of Indian origin. Both now live in Pakistan.

Hasan Ali has represented Pakistan in all three formats in international cricket. He has taken 80, 100 and 60 wickets in 24 Tests, 66 ODIs and 51 T20 matches respectively. He is playing for Karachi Kings in PSL, whose captain is David Warner.

Talking about Hasan Ali’s wife Samiya Arju, she is a resident of Mewat in Noonh district of Haryana. According to media reports, he has done B.Tech in Aaronautical from Manav Rachna University. He is a flight engineer in Air Emirates.

Samiya Arju has more than 3 lakh followers on Instagram. People are very fond of the photos he shared from the stadium. Users are praising them through comments.

Hassan Ali Statement on Babar Azam: Pakistani fast bowler Hasan Ali has been in discussion recently due to comparison of IPL and PSL. He has now come out in support of Babar Azam once again during the 10th season of Pakistan Super League (PSL 2025). He said that he would come to support his Babur and say ‘King Kar’. Since this statement was linked to Babur’s poor form, the fans also trolled Hasan Ali fiercely. After becoming a victim of critics, Ali has apologized during the press conference.

Last Tuesday, Hasan Ali took 4 wickets for 28 runs, despite his team Karachi Kings had to face a big defeat by 65 runs against Lahore Kalandars. He said in a press conference after the match, “If people think it was a mistake to say ‘King Kare’, then I also apologize to fans and Babar Azam.”

Babur did not leave even after being trolled

Hasan Ali has been openly supporting Babar Azam earlier. Even after being trolled by the fans, he said, “Babar Azam was the best, the best and will soon get a good rhythm again. Every cricketer’s career has a bad phase.” Ali also said that he has stopped paying attention to trolling being done online.

Hasan Ali also came to support Babar Azam last year and described him as his ‘King’. He had said, “He is my king and Pakistan is also the king of cricket. I know that people can abuse me again, but this does not change the fact that Babar Azam is the best batsman of Pakistan and has also shown it by proving so.” In Pakistan Super League, Babar Azam is playing for the Peshawar Jalmi team. In PSL 2025, he has been in bad condition so far, where he has scored only 1 run in 2 innings.

IPL vs PSL 2025: India and Pakistan are going to have the biggest T20 leagues. The thrill of IPL 2025 is at its peak, while Pakistan Super League starts from tomorrow i.e. April 11 (PSL 2025 Start Date). Many Pakistani cricketers have been claiming that PSL is much better than the Indian Premier League and now Hasan Ali’s name has been added to the cricketers who claim this. A few days before these claims, a cricketer named Corbin Bask rejected the PSL deal due to getting an IPL contract.

Before the start of PSL 10, Hasan Ali spoke to Pakistani channel Geo News and said, "Fans like to watch the same tournament where good cricket is seen. If we play well in PSL, people will see us playing IPL."

IPL is much larger than PSL?

Players from all over the world come to play in the Indian Premier League and Pakistan Super League. In 2023, former PCB chairman Najam Sethi claimed that PSL had received a viewership of 150 million while the IPL viewership was just 130 million. But after that the Indian Premier League has surpassed PSL in terms of viewership.

According to media reports, the official broadcaster of IPL 2025 is expecting a revenue of at least Rs 4,500 crore. It seems impossible to collect so much revenue for PSL amidst the poor condition of cricket in Pakistan. The IPL 2025 started from March 22 and now PSL is to begin from April 11. It will also be worth seeing that the collision between the two leagues after all has a negative effect on the viewership.
