Then this clear juice is heated in machines and its water is removed, due to which it becomes a thick syrup. After cooling, small sugar particles are added to it, due to which gradually larger sugar grains start forming.</p>

There is not much chemical processing in it, hence its natural properties remain intact. For this reason, essential minerals like iron, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and potassium are present in jaggery.</p>
