Calories in Roti: Roti is considered one of the most essential things in Indian food. Roti is prepared in almost every house during the day and dinner, but do you know that the calories in each flour roti are different? This is the reason why nowadays people are preferring to eat rotis made of different flours according to their health and fitness. To lose weight, some eat ragi roti and some eat jowar and millet. In such a situation, this question comes to the mind of many people that which bread gives more energy to the body and which has less calories.

Why is wheat and jowar roti considered healthy?

Fiber is found in good quantity in the most consumed wheat bread, in which one wheat bread of about 40 grams contains about 120 calories. It helps in keeping the stomach full for a long time and provides continuous energy to the body. Whereas jowar roti contains about 100 calories. Jowar is considered a gluten-free grain and nutrients like calcium, iron and potassium are also found in it. This is the reason why people who want to maintain good digestion and eat light food include jowar roti in their diet.

What is the difference between ragi, millet and maize bread?

If we talk about low calorie roti, then Ragi roti is considered to be at the forefront, in which about 40 grams of Ragi roti contains about 90 calories. Calcium and fiber are also found in abundance in it, hence it is considered good for women and children. Whereas millet roti contains about 105 calories. Along with giving strength to the body, millet also helps in removing iron deficiency. On the other hand, corn bread has about 110 calories. Such antioxidants are found in it which are also considered beneficial for the eyes. However, it is also advised to avoid eating too much bread made from maize and millet in summer because their nature is considered hot.

Gram flour bread is also becoming the choice of fitness people

Nowadays, people who go to the gym and pay attention to fitness are also liking gram flour roti. There are about 115 calories in 40 grams of gram flour roti. A good amount of protein is found in it which helps in strengthening the muscles. This is the reason why many people now include high-protein flour and gram flour in their diet instead of normal flour. Also on social media, people are discussing a lot about different types of healthy flour rotis.
