Prashant Tamang died due to heart attack at his home in Janakpuri, Delhi. According to media reports, he was taken to Dwarka hospital after a heart attack. Where he was declared dead. After completing a program in Arunachal Pradesh, he had returned to Delhi shortly before his death. He did not have any health related problems before the attack.
