Heart attack in women: Heart attack in women is not always like what we see on TV or in advertisements – severe chest pain or sudden collapse. In fact, the symptoms of heart attack in women are very mild and come gradually, such as extreme fatigue, stomach upset, difficulty in breathing or restlessness. This is the reason why they are often ignored considering them minor and treatment is delayed. Recognizing these hidden signs and seeing a doctor in time is very important to save life. Come, let us tell you about it in detail.

Unseen signs of heart attack in women

Whenever we talk about heart attack, the first picture that comes to mind is severe chest pain. But many women do not have such symptoms. Signs of heart related problems are visible very mildly in his body. Cardiologist Dr. Dmitry Yaranov explains that “Heart attacks in women sometimes do not appear the way people think. Sometimes patients have pain in the jaw, back or shoulders or just have fatigue and difficulty breathing, but they do not connect it with heart disease.” He says, often women avoid it considering it as stress or weakness, whereas this is the initial sign of heart danger.

Do not ignore these symptoms

Some early symptoms are visible, many of which we ignore, whereas we should not do so at all. If we talk about these symptoms, they include extreme fatigue or weakness. If you get very tired without doing any heavy work or feel weak even after taking rest, then it can be a sign related to the heart. Second, shortness of breath or dizziness. If you feel short of breath or suddenly feel dizzy even without doing any hard work, then do not consider it as mere weakness or stress. This could be a sign of lack of oxygen in the heart. The third symptom is pain in the jaw, neck, back, shoulders or arms. If there is pain or heaviness in these places but the reason is not understood, then this can also be a sign of heart problem.

A feeling of heaviness, burning or confusion in the stomach can be its fourth symptom. If you feel burning sensation, confusion, vomiting or indigestion in the stomach, then do not consider it as just gas or acidity. Such symptoms sometimes appear during heart attack also. Talking about the fifth symptom, it includes sweating or restlessness. Sudden cold sweat, clammy skin or nervousness without any reason. These are also early signs of heart attack. Apart from these, another symptom is difficulty in sleeping or restless sleep. If you wake up repeatedly at night or feel tired even after complete sleep, this can also be a signal from the body that something is wrong.

What is a silent heart attack?

Many times women have a silent heart attack, that is, an attack in which no sharp or clear symptoms are visible. People ignore it considering it to be fatigue, indigestion or stress. But later investigation reveals that the heart has been damaged.

Why are symptoms different in women?

Due to changes in women’s body and hormones, their symptoms appear different. Sometimes, even if there is no blockage, small veins of the heart get affected, due to which pain or heaviness is felt. In some cases, it also causes a condition called spontaneous coronary artery dissection, especially in girls or postpartum women. Apart from this, sometimes doctors also ignore women’s symptoms considering them as stress or gas. This is called “Yentl Syndrome”.

We often think that heart attacks or strokes happen suddenly without any warning, but the truth is quite different from this. Recently, a major research published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology has revealed that heart attacks and brain strokes do not happen suddenly, but are the result of our lifestyle mistakes.

In this study, data of more than 6 lakh people of Korea and more than 1200 patients of America was seen. The result of the research was shocking. In this research, 99 percent of the patients had at least one major risk factor present before heart attack or stroke, which means that if we want, we can save the health of our heart and brain by identifying these risks in time. Let us know what are the causes of 99 percent stroke and heart attack and how to avoid them.

1. High blood pressure – The study found that 96 percent of the patients had high blood pressure. It is a silent killer, because it gradually affects the most important organs of the body, especially the heart and brain, without causing any symptoms. High BP puts more pressure on the arteries, which weakens the heart muscles and also increases the risk of stroke. To avoid this, reduce salt intake, walk for 30 minutes daily or do some light exercise, try to reduce stress and keep getting BP checked regularly.

2. Smoking – In this research, 68 percent of the patients were smokers. The chemicals present in cigarettes shrink the arteries, which reduces both blood flow and oxygen supply. Due to this, the heart does not get full oxygen and the danger gradually increases. To avoid this, quit smoking immediately, be it beedi or cigarette, seek nicotine replacement therapy or doctor’s help and maintain distance from smokers at home.

3. High cholesterol – Due to increase in bad cholesterol, plaque starts accumulating on the inner walls of blood vessels. This plaque later becomes a blockage, which causes heart attack or stroke. There is also good cholesterol in the body which helps in keeping the arteries clean, but if the balance gets disturbed then the risk increases. In such a situation, to avoid this, stay away from fast food, fried food and trans fat, take foods containing Omega-3 fatty acids and get blood tests done regularly.

4. High blood sugar – For people who have diabetes, the risk of heart disease and stroke is double that of normal people. When the sugar level in the body increases, the blood vessels become hard and blood flow stops. In such a situation, to avoid this, reduce sweets and flour products, get blood sugar checked regularly, eat fiber rich food and control sugar through regular exercise.

The risk is increasing rapidly among women also

Earlier it was believed that the risk of heart attack was less in women, especially before the age of 60. However, according to this study, some risk factor was found in more than 95 percent of the cases even in women below 60 years of age. This risk is increasing rapidly in women due to hormonal changes, stress and unhealthy diet. Therefore, it is important to get hormonal checkups done during periods and menopause, adopt meditation and healthy lifestyle to deal with stress, do not ignore your health and get regular health checkups done.

Heart Attack Causes: A heart-wrenching case has come to light from Malwa in Madhya Pradesh. The employee working here suddenly had a heart attack and died. The surprising thing was that the owner and the rest of the employees were just looking at the laborer suffering from pain, no one came forward to help him. The video of this entire incident is going viral on social media. According to media reports, the whole matter is of Tirupati Traders based in Susner. This incident happened on 6th October (Monday), when while working, he suddenly felt chest pain and fell on the chair. He continued to suffer from pain for about 6 minutes and later he died. This is not the first case, cases of heart attack have been happening suddenly for some time and people are losing their lives due to this. Let us tell you how many heart attack cases have occurred in the last seven days.

How many heart attack cases in 7 days

Last week, many heart attack cases have been reported in the country and abroad. The biggest case in this was the death of Punjab’s bodybuilder and actor Varinder Singh Ghuman due to heart attack at the age of 42 on October 9. Shocking news came from Gokak area of Karnataka, after hearing the news of brother’s death, the elder brother had a heart attack and died. While celebrating Karva Chauth on October 10, a woman suddenly collapsed in Barnala, Punjab and died on the spot. It is reported that he died of heart attack. A woman also died in Nagpur, according to reports it was also said to be a heart attack related case. At least 5 to 6 separate cases have been reported from October 6 to 13 where heart attack or cardiac arrest has been cited as the cause of death. At the same time, 1 to 2 cases were also reported in different countries of the world. These are the figures which were reported in the media. Apart from these, there are many cases which are not even reported.

Symptoms and prevention

Amidst the increasing cases of heart attack, you should know about its symptoms and prevention, what are its symptoms and how can it be prevented. Common symptoms of a heart attack include sudden sharp pain, feeling of heaviness or pressure, pain spreading to the arm, neck or jaw, shortness of breath even while doing light work, sweating without any reason, especially cold sweat, sudden nervousness or fear and nausea, vomiting or sudden dizziness. However, it is worth noting that the symptoms may be different and mild in women, elderly people and diabetic patients. If we talk about prevention, then pay attention to your diet, avoid eating too much fried and roasted food. Apart from this, include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, dry fruits and Omega-3 rich food in your diet, do yoga for 30 minutes daily, stay away from smoking and alcohol and keep your weight under control because obesity doubles the risk of heart attack.

Heart Attack in Women: Our body always indicates when something is not good, but if we do not pay attention to these signs, it can do great harm. Especially in women, the risk of heart attack is increasing, but its initial symptoms often look like a normal disease, so people ignore them. There are many types of signs in the body before a heart attack, such as dizziness, breathlessness, vomiting problems or abnormal feeling in the body. If these symptoms are for a while, then it can be a sign of some other problem, but if it persists continuously, then be alert immediately and contact the doctor.

1. Pain in the back, neck or jaw

If you feel pain or discomfort in any other place other than chest, such as back, neck or jaw, it may be a warning sign of heart attack, especially in women. This happens because there are shared nerve routes in these parts and in the heart.

2. Suddenly dizziness or unconsciousness

If you suddenly feel dizzy, light head or fainting without any reason, then it may be a sign of heart problem. This happens because blood from the heart to the brain is not able to reach the right way.

3. Indigestion, vomiting or abdominal pain

Often people consider indigestion, vomiting or abdominal pain as a common digestive problem, but they can also be a sign of heart attack. This happens because when the heart is under pressure and is unable to function properly, it affects other parts of the body. This problem is seen especially due to the shared Suttam route between the stomach and the heart.

4. Chest discomfort or pain

The chest discomfort or pain is not always sudden or intense. It can also be light and sometimes to happen, and may appear even a month before a heart attack. This is called angina. This happens because the blood supply to the heart muscles decreases, which is caused by block or compressed artery.

5. Constant tired feeling

Fatigue is a common symptom that many people experience, but if it is constantly and severe, and your everyday activities or lack of sleep, it can be a warning indication of heart attack. This is because there is a lack of energy in the body due to low blood flow to the heart. In women, the initial symptoms of heart attack often look like a common disease, so it is easy to ignore them. But if you are constantly feeling any symptom mentioned above, contact the doctor immediately. The initial identity and timely treatment can reduce the risk of heart attack to a great extent.

Heart diseases are increasing continuously among Indian women. According to a research published in the Journal of American College of Cardiology, 3 to 13 % of Indian women are struggling with coronary artery disease. This figure has been released on age basis. The most dangerous thing is that this figure has increased by 300 % in the last two decades.

At what age is women coming to heart attack?

According to research, the average age of heart attack for Indian women is about 59 years, which is much lower than in developing countries. However, heart failure cases have been doubled. In fact, in the year 2000, heart failure cases were 1.1 %, which increased to 3.6 % by 2015. It is clear from these data that Indian women need to be more aware of heart health, conduct timely investigation and gender specific approach.

Why are you symptoms of heart attack in women apart from men?

In women, the symptoms of heart attack are very light and seem different from the common symptoms seen in men. Men often complain of severe chest pain, while women feel more pain in the waist, jaw and stomach. Apart from this, they have problems like breath, abnormal fatigue, nausea and dizziness. These symptoms are often considered acidity, weakness or anxiety. Actually, women in India are not very serious about their health. Due to this, the disease is detected late and treatment is also delayed. This increases the threat to young women and women after menopause.

Why are symptoms ignored in women?

Symptoms of heart attack in women are often ignored, because their symptoms are quite different from the patterns seen in men. Symptoms like breath, fatigue and indigestion are ignored by women considering the pressure of daily streg or home responsibilities, due to which they get delayed in getting treatment. For example, a woman over 40 years of age may have persistent fatigue and irritation in the chest or upper abdomen. It is accidentally considered acidity. Similarly, if a woman is a housewife and is having pain in her jaw or is dizzy, then it is ignored as tiredness. Such situations are increasing continuously in urban and semi-urban areas of India. Due to low awareness, women who become victims of heart attack do not get timely treatment.

Do not ignore these symptoms

Some symptoms of women’s heart attack are completely different, which should never be ignored. The risk of heart problems in the future increases due to hormonal change caused by premature menopause, high blood pressure related to pregnancy, diabetes due to pregnancy and PCOS. Apart from this, there is mental health issues and chronic stress in women struggling with offices and Parivar in urban areas, due to which the danger also increases. Do not take it lightly if you see a sudden fatigue, difficulty in breathing during everyday functioning, chest discomfort and not getting sleep, then do not take it lightly. If there is a history of heart disease or lifestyle related diseases in a woman’s family, then they should take special care.

Dancing suddenly to death or losing life while exercising. The reason for this is only one and its name is a heart attack. However, all this does not happen suddenly. Its symptoms in women are different from men, which begin to appear from long before. According to a report published in the Journal Circulation (2016), 43% of women did not complain of chest pain during a heart attack. Some weeks before a heart attack in women, some of the seven such symptoms are known, which may be heavy to ignore. & Nbsp;

 1. Chest pain, but not feel

Chest pain is the hallmark of heart attack, but women have some such symptoms in contrast, which do not have pain, but feeling tightness and pressure on the chest etc. This situation is formed for some time and then ends. In some cases this may also be felt during indigestion and acidity. This is also the initial symptom of heart pressure.

 2. Fatigue, which begins to be burdened

It is common for fatigue to work, but when the body starts feeling tired without any reason, it should be cautious. If you start feeling like heavy workouts even to walk a little distance or lift the kitchen items, then understand that the heart has to work hard. This symptom appears several days or weeks before heart attack. & Nbsp;

 3. Breathing breathe without doing anything

Breathlessness is not always due to lung problem. Difficulty in breathing for women can mean a sign of danger on the heart. Especially when this problem suddenly felt.

 4. & nbsp; Do not understand food poisoning ignore

Women may have nausea, flatulence and vomiting. It is ignored as a food poisoning or acid reflex.

 5. Pain in these places instead of heart

Heart pain is not always in the chest. In women, it often spreads to jaw, neck, shoulders, upper back or even arms. It can be overwhelming to ignore it.

 6. The feeling is already visible

Even before a heart attack comes, women start feeling some crisis. In them, fear, anxiety or feeling of not getting well starts coming.

 7. Cold sweating

Women may have cold sweat before heart attack. In this, sweating can be considered a sign of warning even in a cooling environment.
