Weather forecast today: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted the scorching heat and heat running in North India. IMD said that in states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab of North India, there is going to be scorching heat on Saturday (April 5). Today, the temperature in these states can reach 40 degrees Celsius.

Possibility of rain in South and Eastern states

At the same time, IMD has expressed the possibility of rain in the south and east of the country today. IMD said that today there will be rain in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and North Karnataka. Apart from this, there will also be rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh in North Eastern states. Whereas in Meghalaya and Assam, an orange alert has been issued in Assam and Meghalaya in view of the possibility of thunderstorms with thunderstorms.

How will the weather be in the country’s capital today

IMD said that in some areas of Delhi, today i.e. on Saturday (April 5), a situation like heatwave can be created. However, its effect will be for a very short time. The Meteorological Department has said that there is no alert in the country’s capital till April 7.

However, according to IMD forecast, there may be scorching heat in Delhi in the coming week. Today, the minimum temperature in Delhi is expected to be close to 18 to 20 degrees and maximum 39 to 40 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, AQI of Delhi has also come under poor category again.

IMD warning for Uttar Pradesh and Bihar

With this, the temperature will increase in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh from next week. Punjab and Haryana have Lu alert from 7 to 9 April. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has not yet given any warning regarding heat stroke in Bihar. However, due to the increase in temperature, people are feeling the scorching heat.
