Punjab and Haryana High Court has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Safai Sevak (Sweeper) and Mali (Gardener). A total of 167 vacant posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online within the prescribed time limit.

According to the released recruitment notification, appointments will be made on 75 posts of Safai Sevak and 92 posts of Gardener. To complete the application process, candidates will have to register online by visiting the official website of Punjab and Haryana High Court. The last date for submission of applications has been fixed as June 30, 2026.

Who can apply?

To apply for these posts, the minimum age of the candidates has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age at 35 years. However, reserved category candidates will be provided age relaxation as per government rules.

Qualification for the post of Gardener

For recruitment to the post of Gardener, preference will be given to such candidates who have done Diploma in Horticulture. Apart from this, candidates having at least three years of work experience in the field of horticulture will get preference. This can benefit the candidates in the selection process.

Qualification for Safai Sevak post

It is considered important for the candidates applying for the posts of Safai Sevak to have experience in related work. According to the notification, candidates who have at least three years of work experience as sweepers will be given preference.

Knowledge of language is necessary

Candidates applying for both the posts are required to have general knowledge of Hindi and regional language.

How much is the application fee?

General category, Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates from other states applying for recruitment will have to pay an application fee of Rs 700. Whereas for SC, ST and Disabled (PwBD) candidates of Punjab and Haryana, the application fee has been fixed at Rs 600.

3. Enter all the personal and educational information requested.
4. Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
