According to the information, Solan Police had called Dr. Rajeev Bindal’s elder brother Ram Kumar Bindal (75) for questioning on Friday (October 10) morning and then arrested him. The victim has lodged a report in the women’s police station, according to which she has been ill for a long time, she had come to the Vaidya near the old bus stand in Solan on 7 October 2025 to get Vedic treatment for her illness.

On 30 June 2025, the nomination of the state president and the members of the National Council will be taken from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on 30 June 2025, these nomination papers will be examined from 2 to 3 pm and if more than one nomination comes, then its return time has been fixed from 3 to 5 pm.

He informed that on July 1, the official announcement of the state president and eight National Council members will be made at Hotel Peterhoff Shimla at 11:00 am by Union Minister Jitendra Singh. He raised the question that if a poor family has found a pucca room under the housing scheme of the previous BJP government, is it now out of the category of poverty? The government should clarify that the poor who take advantage of the scheme are no longer entitled to stay in the BPL list? The maximum limit of land from two hectare to one hectare is a proof of the poor anti -mentality of the government.

Bikram Thakur alleged that the government had abolished the financial and administrative powers of the panchayats. Now bypassing the decisions of the Gram Sabha, the officials have been given the right to decide who will be in the BPL list. Withdrawing the interest of the panchayat fund, ordering the reversal within three days on the unappointed amount and taking away the income of property tax – all this shows that the government wants to fully weaken the panchayats.

Village employment servants posted in the gram panchayats of the state have not received salary for the last three months. Sewing teachers, panchayat chowkidars and other honorary employees are also waiting for payment for the last five months. There are about 900 posts of Chowkidars, which the government did not run any process to fill. The chowkidars who completed the 10 -year term, are not being made even daily wage bhogi. Bikram Thakur said that today Pradhan himself has to work as a watchman – the more shameful situation has never been in the Panchayati Raj system.
