Hindi in maharashtra: After withdrawing government orders related to Hindi in Maharashtra schools, former Chief Minister and Shiv Sena (UBT) President Uddhav Thackeray said that this is the victory of Marathi Manush. Taking a dig at the Fadnavis government, he said that the government did not realize that Marathi Manush would unite in this way.

Uddhav Thackeray said, “The government lost in front of the power of Marathi Manush. The government withdrew the GR so that the Marathi Manush could not unite for the July 5 front.

Vijay Morcha announced

He said on the allegations of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis that BJP is a factory of lies. He also said that after the withdrawal of GR on Hindi in schools of Maharashtra, now Vijay Morcha will be taken out on July 5.

What was the order?

The Maharashtra government issued an order on 17 June, stating that in the schools of Marathi and English medium, students from class 1 to 5 would be taught as a third language in general. Opposition parties became aggressive against this decision.

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray announced to call a march on 5 July in protest. Both brothers were going to be seen on a stage after about 20 years.

CM announced

The CM himself announced the withdrawal of the order. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis held a press conference on Sunday (June 29) with Deputy CM Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar that a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of educationist Narendra Jadhav to implement the language policy and suggest further way.

According to news agency PTI, Fadnavis alleged that Uddhav Thackeray as Chief Minister had accepted the recommendations of Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar Committee to implement the policy of three-language from class 1 to 12 and formed a committee on the implementation of the policy.

Fadnavis said, “The State Cabinet has decided to withdraw two government orders (GRs) issued in April and June regarding the implementation of ‘Tri-Language’ policy from the first grade. A committee will be constituted under the chairmanship of Dr. Narendra Jadhav to recommend the implementation of (of the three-language policy).
