Hindu Temple Mandir Ritual: Devotees have deep faith in Gods and Goddesses, due to which...

Hindu Temple Mandir Ritual: Devotees have deep faith in Gods and Goddesses, due to which they perform puja and also observe fasts. Actually, God looks at the feelings of the devotees and not the enjoyment. But still people definitely offer food to God as per their faith, devotion and capacity.

The tradition of offering Prasad or Bhog during worship is also important. The tradition of offering food to Gods and Goddesses during puja has been going on since ancient times. Generally laddus, batasha, pedas, dry fruits, fruits etc. are offered. But there are some temples in the country where not traditional Kheer-Puri, Halwa or Laddu-Peda, but things like pizza, sandwich, burger, pani-puri and cold drinks are offered to the Goddess.

It may sound strange to you, but devotees consider it to be a unique leela of the Goddess. There are not just one but many such temples in India, where unique types of offerings are made. For now, let us talk about Jeevika Mataji Temple in Raputana, Rajkot and Jai Durga Peetham Temple in Padappai, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Jeevika Mataji Temple at Raputana, Rajkot and Jai Durga Peetham Temple at Padappai, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Both these temples are considered centers of deep faith for the devotees.

These Prasad are offered to children

The temple of Jeevika Mataji in Raputana is about 65-70 years old. Devotees come here to pray for the long life of their children. The Acharya of the temple tells that, in earlier times only Shriphal (coconut) and Sakar Prasad were offered in the temple. But now these dishes are also offered to children to please them. Besides, the donated money of the temple is also spent for social works. This is the reason why people here donate themselves and also offer things like burgers, sandwiches, pizzas for the children.

Modernized temple and offerings

Talking about the Jai Durga Peetham temple located in Padappai, Chennai, here too devotees offer things like pizza, burgers, sandwiches. This temple was established by herbal oncologist K. Shri Sridhar has done it. The reason for modernizing the temple’s Prasad menu is said to be that tourists from far and wide come to the temple because of the unique Prasad. Besides, devotees can also register their date of birth here. After this, cake is also offered to him on his birthday. However, all the offerings are made with complete devotion and in a sacred kitchen and are also offered to God. Moreover, the prasad offered in the temple is certified by FSSAI.

The journey of medical education in India has been very interesting and inspiring. The modern medical system we see today, its roots are centuries old. From the time of Charak and Sushruta to Ayurveda, Siddha and Greek methods, its own stream of treatment continued to flow. But with the arrival of the British period, there was a big change in medical education and treatment method, which gave a new direction to the dreams of becoming a doctor in India.

India’s first MBBS batch passed in 1839. Let us know how the medical education system has changed over time. At the time of Charak and Sushruta in India, treatment was done with indigenous medical practices like Ayurveda, Siddha and Greek, which were quite popular at that time. But during the British period, medical training started through Western treatment method.

Start of formation of medical board

In the year 1822, the Medical Board of British Surgeons wrote a letter to the Secretary of the Government of India, recommending to start a systematic medical education system for Indians. Its purpose was to maintain public health and prepare a qualified medical staff for the British East India Company.

Why was there a need for change?

British did not rely on the traditional medical system of Indians. For this reason, he brought a doctor from Europe. The European company surgeons were mostly busy with military services in the continuous wars in the middle of the 18th century. In such a situation, Indian soldiers admitted to East India Company started getting treatment from British surgeons.

An interesting aspect was also that many upper caste soldiers were hesitant to take European medicines. The reason for this was religious beliefs and mistrust on the new method. Despite this, gradually the Western medical system began to spread in India and a new chapter of medical education started, which gave birth to a new generation of doctors in the future.

Dream of becoming a doctor abroad

A few years later, four brave youths, Bhola Nath Bose, Dwarka Nath Bose and Gopal Chander crossed the sea and went abroad with a dream of becoming a doctor. At that time, going abroad, especially for studies, was full of social and cultural challenges. But these youths showed courage and brought Indian medical education to the international stage.

History of injection: We all have got an injection in the hospital at some time....

History of injection: We all have got an injection in the hospital at some time. Whether it is for the treatment of fever, for a serious illness, or during vaccination, injection is an important part of our life. But have you ever thought that how was the syringe from which the medicine is inserted in your body, how was it discovered? Do you know that the syringe was once made by the urine of the animal and today the business of the same syringe has become billions of rupees.

What is a syringe?

The syringe is a medical device used to inject or remove a medicine or liquid in the body. It consists of a cylindrical tube and a plunger, which works to pull and release the medicine. When a needle is added to this tube, it takes the form of injection.

Also read- The medicine for this dangerous disease keeps the liver healthy, the shocking truth came out in new research

How did it start?

The history of the syringe began in the 5th century. In 1656, Britain’s physicist Christopher Ren first used syringe technology to insert drugs in animal veins. At that time the syringe was manufactured with animal urine bag and bone tube. Gradually scientists made it worth using on humans and by the end of the 11th century, the syringe made of metal and glass started.

How has the form of syringe changed?

Initially the syringe was used repeatedly and used

Then the disposable plastic syringe started, which reduced the risk of infection

Today, auto-disabled syringe, prefilled syringe and safety syringe are being used, which are safe and convenient.

How big is this market?

Medical device sector in India is growing rapidly and syringe is an important part of it.

India’s syringe market was about ₹ 3,198 crore in the year 2023

Global syringe market has reached about ₹ 55,230 crore in 2023

The history of the syringe is as interesting as it is, its development is also inspiring. The journey from the equipment made from animal organs to today’s state-of-the-art, safe and single-use syringe is a major achievement of medical science. Today it is not only saving the lives of people, but is also making significant contribution in the economy of the country and the world.

Shashi tharoor on emergency: Senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has said that the Emergency should not be remembered as a black chapter in the history of India, but its lesson should be fully understood. On Thursday (10 July 2025), in an article published on the Emergency in Malayalam Dainik Deepika, a member of the Congress Working Committee recalled the emergency announced by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi between 25 June 1975 and 21 March 1977, saying that efforts made for discipline and arrangement were often turned into cruelty, which could not be justified.

St. Thomas day 2025: When the rest of the disciples went to Rome, he came to India… and was killed here. St. to be celebrated on 3 July Thomas day is reminiscent of a historical and emotional journey, when a disciple of Jesus Christ, Saint Thomas, came to India, laid the foundation of the church and eventually martyred in the hills of Maylapur.

This festival is not only a symbol of a Christ reverence, but the testimony of the truth is that in India, religion spread not with swords, but with service and sacrifice. This sacrifice of St. Thomas is not only the foundation of the Indian Christian community, but it shows that India has always been a land of dialogue, tolerance and reverence.

Introduction: A disciple, a sacrifice and a country
Do you know! The foundation of Christianity in India was not laid by a sword, but a saint’s blood?

St. On Thomas Day (3 July), we remember the Christ disciple who came to India thousands of miles away in Jesus’s love, made church, and was martyred here in Mylapur (Chennai).

Who was the saint Thomas?

One of the 12 major disciples of Jesus

Famous as Doubting Thomas, did not believe Jesus until revived, not believed

But later he became the most dedicated campaigners and turned to India

Can a Muslim emperor ask Hindu pundits to ask for marriage? It may seem strange...

Can a Muslim emperor ask Hindu pundits to ask for marriage? It may seem strange to hear, but the truth is that a Mughal ruler also happened in history, who had unwavering faith in Indian astrology and he was the emperor ‘Akbar the Great’.

Akbar not only made the horoscope of his son Salim (Jahangir) from seven astrologers, but the date of marriage was also decided by seeing the Hindu calendar. How Akbar crossed the walls of religion and gave direction to politics through the movement of ‘planets’, and why this episode is relevant in today’s world. Know-

When the Mughal emperor asked astrologers and decided the auspicious time of marriage
In today’s modern era, some people may feel this imagination, but not. This is the amazing truth of history, when Mughal Emperor Akbar consulted Hindu astrologers for the wedding of his son Salim. A Mughal ruler was not just religious tolerance, but a proof of reverence for knowledge.

Akbar’s ‘Ibadatkhana’ shows what his thinking?
Historian Vincent Smith writes in his book ‘Akbar: The Great Mogul’ that Akbar (1542–1605) was more than a winner, a secular thinking emperor.

Akbar established ‘Ibadatkhana’ in Fatehpur Sikri, where he used to discuss deeds with Hindu, Jain, Muslim and Christian scholars. In one place he writes ‘It was common for akbar to ask Hindu astrologers and jain scholars to interpret celebial events.’ That is, discussion with astrologer and scholars, analysis of planetary transit was a part of daily life for Akbar.

Jahangir’s horoscope was made by seven astrologers
Wheeler M. Thackston who translated many books, translating Jhangirnama, writes that when Salim was born, Akbar invited seven astrologers to make his horoscope i.e. horoscope. Some of these were experts in Hindu calendar and some Greek astronomy.

Tuzuk-e-Jahangiri (Jahangiranama) is the autobiography of Mughal Emperor Jahangir. It is written in Persian. This autobiography is also considered a unique example of literature. Translating it into English, wheeler M. Thackston writes- ‘When I was born, astrolowed, both hindu and muslim cast my horoscope …’ Jahangir writes that when I was born, both Hindus and Muslim astrologers made my horoscope.

Marriage was removed from Hindu calendar
The auspicious day of Jahangir’s marriage was also decided on the basis of the calculation of these Hindu astrologers. This is an example of Akbar’s belief that time in state works should be selected according to the planets.

Indian historian Satish Chandra writes in his book Medieval India: From Sultanat to the Mughals that ‘He Considered Planetary Positions and Consulted Brahmin Astrologers before Royal Weddings.’ That is, the Mughal emperors used to consider the position of the planets before the royal weddings and consulted the Brahmin astrologers.

What was Akbar’s faith in astrology only tradition or trust in science?
It also has to be understood that why the Mughal Emperor Akbar believed so much in astrology. There are also examples that Akbar did not ignore astronomical events like solar eclipse, lunar eclipse, constellation change.

Science also believes these things. In Akbar’s court, scholars like Pandit Jagannath, Birbal had authority over astrology and scriptures. H. Blochmann who translated the mirror Akbari (Ain-I-Cabari), he writes ‘Akbar Respected the Learning of the Brahmins and often Consulted them in Astrological matters.’ That is, ‘Akbar respected the education of Brahmins and often consulted them in astrological matters’.

Did Akbar implement the instructions of Indian astrological texts?
The importance of Muhurta is explained in detail in Vedic scriptures. The tradition of watching Muhurta is not limited to work like marriage. It is clearly written in Brihajjatakam or large native composed by Varahamihira-

Nakshatranan Ch Sarveshan Muhurta Pashyatam Shubham.
Rajya Vivan Yajnay Ch Prashanthanam Dress॥

(That is, it is necessary for the state, marriage and sacrifice to remove auspicious time on the basis of planets and constellations.) Even today this Sanatan tradition is being followed. Which was also relevant even during Akbar’s time.

Is the relationship of knowledge above religion?
It is a symbol of India’s religious diversity and tolerance. This shows that the relationship between power and knowledge is above religion. This proof seems amazing in today’s interfath dialogue and mixed marriages.

This step of Akbar is a proof that a true ruler is the one who understands the knowledge, time and the movement of the planets. Where the boundaries of religion end, Rajdharma and Vivek begin from there, this was proved by Akbar.

 usa news: relations between America and Greenland have not been good in recent times. President Donald Trump has threatened to join the region for national security reasons. Meanwhile, Usha Vance, wife of US Vice President JD Vance (second lady), is going to visit Greenland. The Prime Minister of Greenland and the Interim Government have decided to boycott the visit. & Nbsp;

The US delegation led by Usha Vance will visit the American military base located in Greenland. The delegation will also include National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and Energy Secretary Chris Wright. The visit is taking place two months after Donald Trump Junior’s visit to Greenland, which was described as a ‘private journey’. The visit of the US delegation will run from Thursday (March 27) to Saturday (March 29) from 2025.

 Mute aged targeted & nbsp;

Greenland’s outgoing Prime Minister Mute Agde called the US high-profile tour a step of provoking and clarified that he was not welcome in the country. He said that due to treaty obligations, the visit of the US military base cannot be stopped, but the interim government will not be found from the American delegation.

Prime Minister Agade said, ‘Till now we considered Americans as our colleagues and friends, we loved to work with, but that time has now passed.’

 Usha Vance released the video

Before her visit, Usha Vance shared a video through the US consulate in Greenland. In this, he said that the purpose of his visit is to celebrate the long history of mutual respect and cooperation between our countries.

Amid the growing criticism in Greenland, the White House clarified that the journey is to learn about Greenland, its culture, history and people and participate in the dogslade race, which is proud of the United States of sponsoring. White House spokesman Brian Hughes said, “The goal of this journey is to strengthen a partnership that respects the self -determination of Greenland and promotes economic cooperation.”
