Honda Gold Wing Tour 50th Anniversary: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched 2025 editions of its most luxury and powerful touror motorcycle Gold Wing Tour in India. The company has introduced it as “50th Anniversary Edition”.

Design and style

The 50th anniversary edition of 2025 Honda Gold Wing Tour is specially introduced in Bordeaux Red Metallic color, which gives it a royal and exclusive look. This limited edition model has a special gold wing badge, which has a “50th anniversary” and “SINCE 1975” tagline. As soon as the bike starts, a new welcome screen appears, which shows “since 1975”, which reflects its historical heritage. Its sharp body lines and bold road presence give it a premium tourist.

How is the features?

Honda has given great features in Gold Wing Wing Tour, such as a 7-inch full-colored TFT display that shows information about riding data, navigation and audio. This is the first time that Wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay have been facilitated in this segment. The upgraded audio system also gives clear sound at high speed. In addition, the bike includes facilities such as electrically adjustable windscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, two USB Type-C port, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), and All-LED lighting.

Performance and engine

This bike has a 6-cylinder engine of 1,833cc, which comes with a 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission). This engine not only gives smooth and refined output, but is perfect for long touring rides. It also includes features like cruise control, heated grips and hill start assist, which make it a perfect touring motorcycle.

Price and booking

The ex-showroom price of Honda Gold Wing Tour 50th Anniversary Edition has been kept at 39.50 lakhs. Booking of this bike has started at the selected Bigwing Topline dealership of India and its delivery will start from June 2025. This bike is a perfect option for those riders who are fond of touring experience.

Honda to Soon Start Deliveries of Activa Electric, Range of 102 km, Ola Electric, TVS Motor

The delivery of Activa Electric by Honda Scooter and Motorcycle (HMSI), one of the big two-wheeler companies, may begin soon. The company has started taking Activa E to dealerships. This electric scooter was launched in Bharat Mobility Global Expo.

Booking can be made in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore for Activa Electric. This electric scooter will compete with Ola Electric’s S1 Pro, Chetak Electric of Bajaj Auto, IQUBE of TVS Motor. Activa Electric has two interchangeable batteries, which increases the facility of charging. HMSI plans to install charging stations in various regions for the exchange of batteries. The company has about 85 charging stations in Bangalore. The company also introduced the QC1 electric scooter with Activa E. Its price is about 1.17 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).

However, the design of its electric version is completely different from the Activa with internal combustion engines. It has turn indicators on both sides with LED headlamps. Along with this, LED DRL has been given in the front of Activa Electric. There is a battery system that can be swapped under the seat of this electric scooter with two batteries of 1.5 kwh. The range of Activa Electric’s single charge is about 102 kilometers. It has three riding mode – Standard, Sport and Econ.

It has an advanced features like Honda Roadsync Duo, so that riders can connect their smartphone to Bluetooth and use nevegation along with phone calls. HMSI plans to set up a factory for electric two-wheelers. Honda Motor of Japan has informed about setting up factory for electric two-wheelers in the country by 2028. Many types of electric models will be created by adding modules for many models in this factory. The target of Honda Motor is to become the largest electric two-wheeler company in the country. For this, the company will try to bring the cost of electric two-wheelers in the next three years as two-wheelers running on the internal combustion engine (ICE). Honda claims that its cells have reached a position where it is not difficult to get the most market shares.
