During the trailer launch of the film, Pankaj Tripathi told that when director Amit Rai came to him with the story of this film, he immediately agreed.

I said yes to the film as soon as I heard the story.

The actor said, ‘I had earlier worked with Amit Rai in the film ‘Oh My God 2’. When Amit narrated the story of ‘Oh My Dog’, I found it very special. I told Amit that I will do the film, no matter what my character is. The relationship between human and dog is very unique. A pet loves its owner unconditionally. He not only supports us, but also becomes a part of the family. This is a film that shows this beautiful feeling.

Director Amit Rai also shared his thoughts about the story of the film on the occasion of trailer launch. He said, ‘My aim was to create a story with which every family can connect. I hope that after watching the film, people will develop more love and sensitivity towards animals.
