In the United Nations General Assembly, India has given a strong message to Pakistan on its double standards and serious human rights violations taking place in Kashmir. India has demanded that Pakistan stop atrocities in those areas where people are now openly raising their voice against Pakistani occupation.

Bhavika Mangalanandan, First Secretary of India’s UN Mission, said on Friday, “In the last few weeks alone, the Pakistan Army and its proxy terrorists have killed innocent civilians who were demanding their basic rights and freedom.” He said, “We appeal to Pakistan to immediately stop the ongoing human rights violations in occupied Kashmir, where the people are revolting against military occupation, repression and resource exploitation.”

What did Mangalanandan say?

Mangalanandan described Pakistan’s continuous anti-India statements in the United Nations as false and said, “Neither reality nor truth changes by telling lies again and again.” He said that there is no need to take Pakistan’s dual policy and hypocrisy seriously.

India said this for the people of Kashmir

India also said that the democratic participation of the people in Kashmir reflects the strength of India’s democracy. He further said, “Pakistan’s attempt to defame India and the people of Jammu and Kashmir has failed.”

Bhavika Mangalanandan said that Pakistan has misrepresented the principle of self-determination. He reminded that in the United Nations Security Council Resolution 47 (April 1948) it was clearly stated that Pakistan should first withdraw its army and civilians from Kashmir. But till today Pakistan is violating that order and continues to illegally occupy parts of Kashmir. India reiterated that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are integral and inseparable parts of India.

Bhavika Mangalanandan said that India’s commitment to human rights is inspired by the ideology of Mahatma Gandhi, which is based on non-violence and equality. The Constitution of India strengthens these principles and there are commissions at the national and state levels for the protection of human rights in the country.

India also said that the judiciary has further strengthened the protection of human rights and the fundamental rights of citizens are being protected through laws and schemes in the country.

For this, before going to the police station, call the number 112. When you are going to register an FIR, call 112 on the way and inform that you are going to register an FIR. This call will remain in record and later you will work as evidence.

112 is a single emergency number to be dialing in a big difficult or crime. On which 24 hours and seven days can be made in all the states and union territories of India and seven days for immediate help from the fire brigade, a medical team or police. You can call number 112 with a landline or mobile phone. This single emergency number is free everywhere.

If the police refuse to register an FIR, where to complain
In the event of FIR not registering, you can send a complaint to the SP, DCP or DIG of your district. If they feel that the matter is correct, they can order an officer to investigate. Apart from this, even if the crime has been done in another police station area, you can still register an FIR in any nearby police station. This is called Zero FIR. The police have to accept it and send it to the concerned police station area.

Along with this, if the police and high officials are not taking your FIR, then you can go to the Magistrate in the District Court and give the complaint application.
Magistrates can order the police to register an FIR and order an inquiry. Nowadays almost every state police website or mobile app is from where you can enter E-FIR. If you feel that injustice has been done to you and the police is deliberately negligent, then you can complain to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) or the State Human Rights Commission.
