In view of this, Patna Meteorological Center has issued a Yellow alert while the weather will remain normal in the rest of the districts and light winds will continue.

Thunderstorm warning in West Bengal

Due to the moisture coming from the Bay of Bengal, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and rain in many parts of West Bengal. The Meteorological Department has warned of light to moderate rain and hailstorm in Jhadgram, East and West Medinipur, Bankura, Purulia, Hooghly and Howrah. Along with this, there is a possibility of strong wind and lightning in Birbhum, Murshidabad and 24 Parganas districts. The temperature of the state may fall by three to four degrees in the next two days.
