Hyderabad: Telangana Police and Andhra Pradesh Police together thwarted a major conspiracy. The police arrested two people on suspicion of planning a blast during a joint operation. It is also important that the police have also found bomb making goods from these people. The police also suspect that both are linked to ISIS.

Police said on Sunday that Siraj ur Rehman (29) of Vijayanagaram was detained on the basis of a secret information. During the search, explosives including ammonia, sulfur and aluminum powder were seized from Rahman’s premises. The police will now present both the accused in the court.

“Another man Syed Sameer (28) from Hyderabad was detained on the basis of the revelations made by Rahman during the investigation,” police said. Police said that both the accused are in custody and will be produced in court. He urged the public to cooperate and be vigilant.

Police is on high alert
