Investigating agencies have got a big clue in the Delhi car blast case. According to the information, Jaish-e-Mohammed operative Abu Ukasa had completely radicalized Umar Un Nabi, the mastermind of this attack. In the year 2022, Umar went to Turkey, where he met Abu Ukasa and during this time he was prepared for a major attack in India.

According to the agencies, Jaish-e-Mohammed did not want the strings of this attack to be seen to be directly linked to Pakistan, hence the entire operation was being operated remotely from Turkey. Abu Ukasa constantly gave instructions to Umar and kept pushing him towards radical anti-India ideology.

‘There is no country like Pakistan’- Omar

Sources said that Umar was so radicalized that he used to say that no Muslim is good except the Muslims of Kashmir and that non-Muslims and Muslims of the entire country should be eliminated. Umar also used to say that there is no country like Pakistan. Everyone should go to Pakistan, Muslims are respected only in Pakistan in the whole world, hence apart from Pakistan, other countries are not good in the whole world.

Umar was in contact with Abu Ukasa

Mohammad Umar, who drove the Hyundai i20 car used in the Delhi car blast, was in direct contact with Jaish-e-Mohammed operative Abu Ukasa (code name) in Turkey’s capital Ankara. Ukasa was the handler of both Umar and Dr. Muzammil Shakeel and he was controlling the entire operation from outside. To avoid suspicion of the agencies, Dr. Muzammil confessed that he had traveled to Turkey in the year 2022 only to meet his handler Ukasa. At the same time, in Ankara itself, both Omar and Muzammil were influenced by fundamentalist ideology and were instigated to attack in India.

Abu Ukasa is the active commander of Jaish-e-Mohammed and is among the very close relatives of Masood Azhar. Initially, the conversation with the handler was done on WhatsApp, but to avoid security agencies, later the communication session was shifted to the app so that the chat could neither be traced nor leaked.

The investigating agencies have found the name of a Faridabad company on the keys of the explosive car. This company is located in Sector 37, Faridabad and deals in used car dealing. It has been revealed that this i20 car was sold to a person named Tariq, a resident of Pulwama. Delhi Police is now investigating how and when the car was used to bring it to Delhi. According to sources, the incidents from Faridabad to Red Fort blast may be related. Teams of Delhi Police, NIA and IB are working together from this angle.

Two names have emerged so far in the investigation

Two names have emerged so far in the investigation. Tariq (resident of Pulwama) is the same person in whose name the car was registered. An associate of Umar Mohammad Tariq, whose search has been intensified. Preliminary investigation by Delhi Police is indicating that both of them may have links with the terrorist network. There is a possibility that RDX or high-powered explosive was planted in the car.
