In a major reshuffle at the administrative level, the Rajasthan government has issued orders for transfer and new postings of five senior IAS officers. This order was issued by the Personnel Department on Wednesday (24 December). This administrative change is being seen as part of the regular process of the state government.

The most important name among these transfers is that of senior IAS officer Siddharth Mahajan. He has been appointed the new commissioner of Jaipur Development Authority (JDA). It is noteworthy that Siddharth Mahajan had recently returned from central deputation and was waiting for a new posting in the state for a long time. Now he has been entrusted with the responsibility of an important development authority like Jaipur.

IAS Anandi got these big responsibilities

IAS officer Anandi, currently posted as JDA Commissioner, has been transferred and appointed to the post of Registrar (Cooperative). Before this she was handling the responsibility of Jaipur Development Authority.

Rakesh Sharma becomes Commissioner of Information and Public Relations Department

In the same sequence, Additional Commissioner of Jaipur Development Authority Rakesh Sharma has also been transferred. He has now been made the Commissioner and Joint Secretary of the Information and Public Relations Department. This department plays an important role in providing information about government schemes and policies to the public.

Manju Rajpal took up this post in the State Human Rights Commission

Apart from this, the charge of Cooperative Department has been removed from Manju Rajpal, Principal Secretary and Cooperative Registrar of Cooperative Department. Devasthan Department Commissioner Babulal Goyal has been transferred and appointed to the post of Secretary in the State Human Rights Commission.

According to the information, these transfers made by the Rajasthan government are being considered as a step towards further strengthening the administrative system.

Let us tell you that after passing UPSC Exam, IAS candidates are sent for training in Mussoorie. After taking training here, when the IAS officers reach their cadre state, then the probation period has to be served. Where they have to work under the collector.

How much salary is available?

After the probation time is over, the state government posts the officer in the districts. In such a situation, they have to work in posts like Joint Magistrate, SDM. Initially, the IAS officer gets a salary of Rs 56,100 under the 7th Pay Commission. Apart from this, various facilities are also provided to them. Which includes DA, HRA, TA etc.

Punjab News: The Punjab government has appointed IAS officer Ravi Bhagat as Principal Secretary of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Ravi Bhagat is currently the special principal secretary of CM. Earlier, ADGP Gaurav Yadav was the Special Principal Secretary of CM Bhagwant Mann. He is a 1992 batch IPS officer. He was appointed immediately after taking over as CM Mann.

Ravi Bhagat will replace Vijay Kumar Singh, a 1990 batch IAS officer of 1990 batch, who was given this responsibility in December 2023. After the resignation of A Venu Prasad in July 2023, the post became vacant after which Vijay Kumar was appointed.

Ravi Bhagat also holds important positions on Public Works Department, Rural Development Board. IAS officer Ravi Bhagat is handling the responsibility of Secretary of Punjab Rural Development Board and Administrative Secretary of Public Works Department (Building and Roads). He was made Special Principal Secretary of CM Mann in 2023. The additional responsibility of PWD and Medical Education and Research Department was given to Ravi Bhagat in 2024.

Three Principal Secretary changed in three years

No information has been revealed about which special principal sectary has been made in place of IAS Ravi Bhagat. CM Bhagwant Mann held the post of CM of Punjab in March 2022. Three Principal Secretaries have been replaced since he became CM.

Educational Qualification of Ravi Bhagat

Talking about the educational qualification of 48 -year -old Ravi Bhagat, according to the information available on the website of the Public Works Department of Punjab, he has made an M.P. Apart from this, MA in Regional Development, M in Public Policy and MSc in Public Policy and Management. Ravi Bhagat has studied from Jalandhar University in Punjab.
