There is a small shop in the streets of Atal Dam area of Bharatpur, Rajasthan, where Govind Kumar used to fry hot pakodas and namkeen with his own hands. The aroma of those pakodas not only satiated the hunger, but also kept a dream alive – the dream of seeing her daughter become something big.

Govind Kumar worked hard at the same shop for the last 25 years without caring about sun, dust and cold. He struggled every day to run his family of 7 people. He didn’t have much, but one invaluable asset was his unwavering faith in his daughters’ education. And now the same faith made his elder daughter Deepesh Kumari proud by making her an IAS officer.

Big dreams in a small room

Deepesh’s childhood was spent in a small room. That was his playground and also his place of study with his five brothers and sisters. Whenever there was a power outage, Deepesh would study by lamp light. There were many difficulties, but he never used the circumstances as an excuse.

courage worth crores

Govind Kumar’s life is no less than the story of a film. Even after running the shop from morning till night, he used to make every possible arrangement for the education of the children. There were many times when he himself paid school fees by staying hungry. He always says that we may be poor, but your dreams should never be small.

Journey from Shishu Adarsh to IIT Bombay

Deepesh did his early studies from Shishu Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Bharatpur. He filled his family with pride by scoring 98% marks in 10th and 89% in 12th. After this he did B.Tech in Civil Engineering from MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur. His hard work and dedication took him to IIT Bombay, one of the most prestigious institutes in the country, from where he obtained the M.Tech degree.

Quit job, chased dreams

After completing his studies from IIT, Deepesh worked in a private company. But his heart was always in one direction – UPSC exam. He left the job after a year and started preparation sitting in a rented room in Delhi. To save money he cut down on his food and expenses.

Failure for the first time, but don’t give up

In the year 2020, Deepesh took the UPSC exam for the first time, but did not succeed. At that time she was feeling disappointed, but she promised herself that she would not back down now. She worked harder, understood her mistakes and started preparing with new enthusiasm.

Became an IAS officer in the second attempt

In the year 2021, both luck and hard work supported. Deepesh secured All India 93rd rank. Not only this, she got fourth position in EWS category i.e. she was included in the top rankers.

Police has registered an FIR in the case of suicide of Indian Police Service officer...

Police has registered an FIR in the case of suicide of Indian Police Service officer Y Puran. However, now there has been a new twist in this matter. Puran’s wife and Indian Administrative Service officer Amneet P Kumar has written a letter to the Chandigarh Police officer making three serious allegations.

IAS Amneet Kumar has raised questions on the FIR lodged by Chandigarh Police at the suicide site of IPS Y Puran Kumar. In the letter given to SSP Chandigarh, he has written that the names of the accused have not been mentioned in column number seven in the FIR, whereas in his complaint he has written the names of DGP Shatrujit Kapoor and Rohtak SP Narendra Bijarania, which is the main reason for the suicide. They allege that the sections of SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act have also not been implemented correctly. He also wrote that the copy of Puran Kumar’s final note which was found in his pocket and which was in his laptop has not been given to him yet so that he can compare it with the final note in the FIR.

FIR against DGP Shatrujit Kapoor in IPS Y Pooran suicide case, will Director General of Police go on leave?

These three things were written in the letter

He has written in the letter that as per my complaint, the names of the accused (1) Shatrujeet Kapoor (2) Narendra Bijarnia have not been mentioned in the FIR, which led to his suicide. As per the prescribed FIR document format, all the accused should be listed under column number 7. Therefore, it is requested that the FIR be amended so that the names of all the accused are accurately reflected in the appropriate section.

IAS Amneet wrote that the section mentioned in the FIR under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act has been weakened. The applicable section applicable in this case is the amended section 3(2)(v) of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The sections should be added accordingly to implement the correct legal provisions.

At the end of the letter, Amneet wrote that it is also requested that the ‘last note’ dated 7/10/2025 recovered from the pocket of the deceased (Late Shri Y. Puran Kumar IPS) and another note recovered from his laptop bag have not been made available to me till date. I have not received any copy of the said ‘final note’ which can be matched with the version mentioned in the FIR. I request that certified copies of both the ‘Final Notes’ be made available to me immediately for records and verification.

An FIR has also been registered against Haryana Director General (DGP) Shatrujit Kapoor in the suicide case of Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Y Puran. This FIR has been filed on the complaint of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer and Puran’s wife Amneet. The FIR names 13 officers and former officers.

After the FIR is registered against the DGP of Haryana Police, it is believed that he may be sent on leave. Besides, Rohtak SP Narendra Bijarania can also be removed. The FIR lodged at Sector 11 police station, Chandigarh, is based on the written complaint of the IAS wife and Puran’s final note.

Names of these 13 officers and former officers in the FIR

Apart from Haryana DGP Shatrujit Kapoor, Rohjat Superintendent of Police IPS Narendra Bijarania, former Haryana DGP Manoj Yadav, former IAS Rajeev Arora (former ACS Home), former Chief Secretary TVSN Prasad, former DGP PK Aggarwal, IAS officer Dr. M Ravi Kiran, IAS officer IG Pankaj Nain, ADGP Amitabh Dhillon, ADGP Sanjay Kumar, IAS Kala, apart from Haryana DGP Shatrujit Kapoor, are included in the preliminary list. An FIR has been registered against Ramachandran, IPS Sandeep Khirwar and IPS Sibash Kaviraj.

Rohtak’s Sandeep had gone to Russia to study, was pushed into war on the pretext of being a cook in the army, made a video call to his parents and said – ‘Save us’

In the FIR of this case, the words ‘as per the suicide note’ were written among the accused. The names of all IAS and IPS officers are mentioned in the text of the FIR.

All of them have been accused of instigating suicide. Late Puran’s wife Amneet alleges that DGP Shatrujit Kapoor and SP Bijarania forced her to commit suicide. The officers publicly harassed and humiliated the husband. The conspiracy to implicate him in a false bribery case was hatched on the instructions of the DGP. Their demand is that the DGP and SP should be arrested, otherwise the evidence will be destroyed.

If the youth who dream of becoming an IAS in India take the UPSC exam, then there is a similar service in Nepal, which is called Nepal Administrative Service (NAS). It is counted among the most prestigious jobs there. In order to become an officer like IAS in Nepal, the youth have to pass the hard examination of the Public Service Commission (PSC). Candidates who are successful in this exam get the post of administrative officer and they handle the policies and administrative system of the country.

How to become officers like IAS in Nepal?

To become an officer like IAS in Nepal, first one has to take the Public Service Commission (PSC) examination. This exam is completely based on merit and transparency. It includes both written examination and interview. In the written examination, questions related to general knowledge, current affairs, language and administrative subjects are asked. After passing the exam, candidates are called for interview.

Candidates who succeed in both stages are appointed as an officer in Nepal Administrative Service (NAS). In this way, it can be said that this process is very similar to the UPSC of India, the name and structure are different.

What is the qualification?

For this prestigious job, it is necessary to pass the graduation of candidates. The degree should be from a recognized university. Also, the age of the candidate should be minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years. Some relaxation in age is also given to reserved class and women candidates.

Salary and facilities

After becoming an administrative officer in Nepal, attractive salary and many types of facilities are available. The initial salary of an officer is around 45,000 Nepali rupees per month, which can reach Rs 1 lakh with time and promotion. Apart from this, government houses, vehicles, security and medical facilities are also provided. Pension and other benefits are also ensured after retirement.

These are responsibilities

Like IAS in India, NAS officials in Nepal play an important role in implementing the policies of the country, maintaining law and order and monitoring development plans. These officers are sent to different positions in districts and ministries. At the same time, it is their responsibility to solve disaster management and public problems.

IAS officer termination: Government jobs are given more attention in India. Whereas in government jobs,...

IAS officer termination: Government jobs are given more attention in India. Whereas in government jobs, salary is less than private jobs. But if you talk about job security, then it is many times more. This is the reason why people prefer government jobs more in view of job security. Many times people sitting in high government posts like IAS officer do something like this.

Which passes by the government, the government passes away. In such a situation, you must have seen many times the ministers of the government threaten the officers. Your uniform gets removed, he will get it done. Let’s talk like this. But often this is not possible. Can no one really remove an IAS officer from the job? Know the answer.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVIF0LYPLC

Can no one remove the IAS officer from the job?

It becomes very difficult for government officials in India to do their work. When the governance puts an adane in their work. This thing is not hidden from anyone. In almost all the states of the country, some such case often comes. Where there has been a debate between IAS officials and government ministers. IAS officers have been threatened by ministers regarding their work, warnings have been given. It has been said to be fired from the job.

Also read: Lightning must have heard, but do you know about the cloud fall?

But let us tell you that no IAS officer in India is such an easy task. These officers are directly appointed by the Central Government. And a strict and quite clear process has been fixed to get them out of the job. That is why any minister or Chief Minister cannot remove the IAS officer from the job only on the basis of any allegation or any personal enmity.

When and how can the IAS officer be removed?

As we told you, a whole process has to be done to remove the IAS officer. If an IAS officer has been charged with serious allegations. And those allegations are proved on him. So a departmental inquiry is started against him. After investigation, the displaying action is taken against the Central Government on the recommendation of the Central Government.

Also read: Why do big animals have long faces? Learn what is science behind this

For this, consent is also necessary from the Union Public Service Commission i.e. UPSC, Personnel Department and the State Government. During this entire process, the officer also gets full opportunity to give his clarification. After this, the final decision is approved by the President. That is, it can be said that removing the IAS officer from his post is not an easy task.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct prelims (prelims) of Civil Services on Sunday, 25 May. Candidates who have registered for this exam can now download their e-admit card from UPSC’s official website-upsconline.gov.in. All the candidates taking the exam will be required to bring with them printed copy of e-admit card and a valid photo identity card (eg Aadhaar, PAN, Driving License etc.). Without these two documents, admission will not be given to the examination center. UPSC has advised all the students to read all the instructions given on the admit card carefully so that there is no problem on the day of the examination.

Examination will be held in two innings

Let us tell you that the exam will be in two shifts-

Paper 1 (General Studies): 9:30 am to 11:30 am

Paper 2 (CSAT): 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm

What is prelims

UPSC Preliminary Examination (Prelims) is a type of screening i.e. retrenchment examination. The numbers found in it are not added to the last merit list. This means that the purpose of prelims is only to decide which candidates are eligible to give main examinations. Only those candidates who pass prelims, will be able to sit in the main examination ahead. In the end, the rank that is made, only the main examination and interview numbers are added, not prelims.

Questions are asked in this way, know the full pattern

In the preliminary examination of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), there are two objective (MCQ based) paper, each of which is of 200 marks. The first paper is General Studies Paper-I, in which topics related to history, geography, politics, economy, science and technology as well as questions related to current developments are asked. The second paper is CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test), which is also known as General Studies Paper-II. In this, the ability of candidates to understand, logical thinking, mathematical skills and analytical abilities is examined.

The main exam will be done on this date

Both papers are in Hindi and English language and every paper gets two hours time. The special thing is that CSAT paper is only qualified, that is, it is necessary to pass in this paper, but its marks are not added to merit. It is mandatory for the candidate to bring at least 33% marks (66 marks) to pass CSAT. Let us tell you that the main exam is likely to start from August 22.

Whenever there is talk of top services in the country, the name of the IAS definitely comes at the top. Every year millions of candidates prepare for UPSC Exam (UPSC Exam), but only a few of them are successful in this exam. Some of the successful candidates go to IAS, some IPS and some in IFS or any other service. Let us tell you today what is the provision regarding transfer to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), which is considered to be the top of the country. According to which officers are transferred.

When and why transfer?

In general, an IAS officer is given the opportunity to serve for at least two years in a district. But due to deteriorating law and order, administrative disagreement or political reasons, the officer can be transferred before that.

According to the Department of Personnel and Training – DOPT, the process of transfer of IAS is done with the consent of the Central and State Governments. The state government usually transferred, but if the matter is related to the central government, then the final decision is taken from the center.

Where is training?

Let us tell you that after passing UPSC Exam, IAS candidates are sent for training in Mussoorie. After taking training here, when the IAS officers reach their cadre state, then the probation period has to be served. Where they have to work under the collector.

How much salary is available?

After the probation time is over, the state government posts the officer in the districts. In such a situation, they have to work in posts like Joint Magistrate, SDM. Initially, the IAS officer gets a salary of Rs 56,100 under the 7th Pay Commission. Apart from this, various facilities are also provided to them. Which includes DA, HRA, TA etc.
