ICC Meeting Harare: The ICC recently held a meeting in Harare, Zimbabwe. This was the first meeting after the Champions Trophy 2025. Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi did not reach this quarterly meeting of ICC. According to a report, it has been said on behalf of Naqvi that he was entangled in private work. For this reason, he could not attend the meeting.

In fact, after the final of the Champions Trophy 2025, no PCB official was on stage to give the trophy. India won the final match. The tournament took place on the hybrid model due to Team India. Therefore, there was no Pakistan board official in Dubai. There was a lot of discussion after the final. According to a news from India Today, the PCB also asked the reason for this. But the ICC did not respond.

Sumair Ahmed from Pakistan attended the ICC meeting. He is a senior officer of the Pakistan Cricket Board. Sumair was also in Dubai during the Champions Trophy. However, PCB chairman Naqvi’s absence in the meeting is also pointing towards his displeasure.

There was a ruckus on the hybrid model of the Champions Trophy –

The Pakistan Cricket Board Champions Trophy was the host of 2025. But the Board of Control for Cricket in India was not ready to send the team to Pakistan. Due to this, the tournament was organized by the hybrid model. There was a lot of controversy about this. The PCB was not ready to follow the hybrid model. But after this he put some conditions. Then accepted it.

India won in the Champions Trophy final –

Team India played the final match of the Champions Trophy 2025 against New Zealand. He won by performing strongly in this match. Team India was captained by Rohit Sharma.
