Today, on 19th November, ICC has released its latest rankings, in which Rohit Sharma has been stripped of his crown of being the number-1 ODI batsman. Sachin did this feat in Test cricket in 2011 at the age of 38 years and 73 days. The third oldest player to reach number-1 in the ICC rankings is Viv Richards, who achieved this feat at the age of 37 years and 230 days.

Rohit had a great performance in Australia

Rohit Sharma’s excellent performance was seen on the Australia tour. Where Rohit played two brilliant innings of 73 and 123 not out in the three-match ODI series against Australia. PAK bowlers are a threat to Bumrah

Pakistan’s spinner Nauman Ali has made a huge leap in the Test bowling rankings. He has become the world’s number-2 Test bowler by jumping four places. Nauman Ali is now just 29 points behind Bumrah in terms of ratings points. Apart from Bumrah, there is no Indian in the list of top-10 bowlers of Test. In the Test batting rankings, Shubman Gill has moved up one place to 12th.

Pakistan’s Nauman Ali had taken 10 wickets in both the innings of the first Test against South Africa. He took 2 wickets in the first innings of the second test.

Four Indians among top-10 ODI batsmen

The Indian team is currently playing an ODI series on the Australian tour. There are four Indians in the top-10 of ODI batting rankings. Shubman Gill is the world’s top ODI batsman, Rohit Sharma remains at third and Virat Kohli remains at number-5. Shreyas Iyer has lost one place, but is still at tenth position. Kuldeep Yadav has slipped one place to sixth position in the ODI bowling rankings.

Smriti Mandhana remains at number-1
