Test batting rankings: Joe Root’s dominance

England’s Joe Root once again remains the number-1 batsman in Test cricket. He has 867 rating points in his account, which shows his consistency and experience. In second place is England’s Harry Brook, who scored aggressively and scored 846 points.

New Zealand’s great Kane Williamson is at third place, who has 822 points. Australia’s Travis Head is at fourth place and Steve Smith is at fifth place. This ranking shows that the batsmen of England and Australia continue to dominate in Test cricket.

ODI batting ranking: Rohit leads

Indian captain Rohit Sharma remains at the top position in ODI cricket. With 781 rating points, Rohit has taken advantage of his rhythm and performance in big matches. At second place is Virat Kohli, who continues to be in the top-3 with 773 points.

T20 batting ranking: The performance of young players

The biggest change has been seen in T20 International. India’s Abhishek Sharma has become the number-1 batsman with 908 rating points. After him, Phil Salt of England is in second place.

India’s Tilak Verma is at third place, Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka is at fourth place and England captain Jos Buttler is at fifth place. This ranking clearly indicates that the era of young and aggressive batsmen is going on in T20 cricket.

Australia’s women’s team is at number one in the ICC rankings. Australia has scored 9,260 points in 31 matches and its rating is 299. Whereas the England team is in second place. England has collected 12,751 points in 46 matches and its rating is 277. India is still a little behind these two teams, but the distance is not considered to be too much.

India benefits from victory over Sri Lanka

India has got a direct advantage in the ranking due to the 5-0 win against Sri Lanka. Although there was no change in India’s position, the points and ratings have definitely strengthened. At the same time, the Sri Lankan team remains at seventh position even after this defeat. Sri Lanka has scored 9,741 points in 43 matches and its rating is 227.

Rest of the teams in top-5

New Zealand’s team is in fourth place, just below India. New Zealand’s rating is 253. After this, South Africa is present at fifth position with 242 rating. West Indies is at sixth position, while Sri Lanka remains at seventh position. Jemimah Rodrigues has slipped to tenth position with a loss of one place. Smriti Mandhana is India’s top T20 batsman, who is currently ranked third in the rankings and has 767 rating points. Renuka’s long jump among bowlers

In the T20 bowling rankings, Renuka Thakur has taken a jump of 8 places and entered the top-10. Renuka Thakur has now come joint sixth in the rankings with South Africa’s Malaba. Renuka is the only Indian in the top-10 ranking of bowlers. Radha Yadav and Shreyanka Patil have also suffered losses. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the rankings of players for ODI and Test on Wednesday afternoon. There has been a historic reshuffle in the latest ICC rankings. New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell has now become the world’s number-1 batsman in ODI cricket. This is historic because after 46 years a New Zealand batsman has become number-1. Earlier, Rohit Sharma of India was the number-1 batsman, but Mitchell has snatched the crown from the hitman. However, Jasprit Bumrah remains number-1 in the ranking of bowlers in Tests.

New Zealand’s batsman becomes number 1 in ODI after 46 years

Daryl Mitchell scored 119 runs in the first ODI against West Indies on 16 November. However, due to a back injury, he is out of the remaining matches of the series. Daryl Mitchell has become the first New Zealand batsman since Glenn Turner in 1979 to top the men’s ODI batting rankings.

Pakistan’s Babar Azam has reached sixth position after playing an inning of 102 runs against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi. Whereas Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman are at 22nd and 26th position respectively after scoring two half-centuries in the series.

Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan number-1 among bowlers

Rashid Khan of Afghanistan is at number-1 in the ranking of bowlers in ODI. In the list of ODI bowlers, Pakistani leg spinner Abrar Ahmed has jumped 11 places to reach 9th position. Abrar took 3 wickets for 41 runs in the second ODI against Sri Lanka. Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf has jumped 5 places. He is at 23rd position. Apart from him, Jayden Seals of West Indies has climbed three places to 20th position. Roston Chase has gained 12 places. He is currently at 46th position.

Jasprit Bumrah number-1 in test

If we look at the Test rankings, Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who took a total of 6 wickets against South Africa, has retained the top position. Whereas Kuldeep Yadav has moved up two places to reach career best 13th position. Ravindra Jadeja has moved up four places to reach 15th position. South African off-spinner Simon Harmer, who took 8 wickets at Eden Gardens, has moved up 20 places to a career-best 24th position.

Number 1 crown snatched from Smriti Mandhana

Smriti Mandhana had remained number one in the ODI batting rankings for a long time. But now Smriti has come at second place with 811 rating points.
