JAC Delhi 2026 BTech Admission: If you are dreaming of doing BTech from top engineering colleges of Delhi, then there is very good news for you. This time the number of seats in the big engineering institutes of the capital has been increased. Along with this, many new courses have also been started, due to which more students will get the opportunity for admission.

The process of Joint Admission Counseling i.e. JAC Delhi 2026 has started for admission in five big engineering institutes of Delhi. Through this counselling, students will be given seats on the basis of their JEE Main rank. This year, Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) has also joined this counseling system again. In which colleges will you get admission?

This time there will be admissions in five big institutes through JAC Delhi 2026. These include Delhi Technological University (DTU), Netaji Subhash University of Technology (NSUT), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Delhi) and Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU). Apart from B.Tech in these institutes, at some places admission will also be given in B.Arch course.

When can you apply?

Online registration for JAC Delhi 2026 has started from 28th May. Students can apply till 11:30 pm on 9th June. Students Official Website jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in You can register by going to. After this you can choose the college and course, as well as deposit the counseling fees. This year NSUT has been made the coordinating university.

This time there will be admission on how many seats?

This year there will be admissions on a total of 7855 seats. Of these, 7765 seats have been kept for B.Tech and 90 seats have been kept for B.Arch. This time the number of seats has increased compared to last year. The reason for this is believed to be the new course and the return of DSEU.

Admission will be based on JEE Main score

Admission to BTech course will be based on the score of JEE Main Paper 1. Whereas, score of JEE Main Paper 2 will be necessary for admission in B.Arch. The merit of the students will be prepared on the basis of JEE Common Rank List i.e. CRL. After this, seat allotment will be done through online counselling. According to the information, the first seat allotment round can be released by mid-June.

Delhi students will get big benefit

Like every year, this time also the students of Delhi will get a big benefit in JAC Delhi. In which 85 percent of the total seats will be reserved for the students of Delhi. Also, students from other states will get admission on 15 percent seats. This may make it a little easier for the students of Delhi to take admission in top engineering colleges. Apart from this, Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University i.e. DSEU has again joined JAC Delhi counseling this year. Last year, the university had adopted a separate admission process, but after that many seats remained vacant. For this reason, now DSEU has again returned to the joint counseling system. This time DSEU will fill BTech seats of its 9 campuses through JAC counselling.

Which courses are available?

This time under JAC Delhi 2026, students will get the opportunity for admission in many types of BTech and professional courses. There are 18 different engineering courses available in Delhi Technological University (DTU) and Netaji Subhash University of Technology (NSUT), whereas in IIIT Delhi, there will be admission in 9 technology and computer based courses. Whereas Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) will give admission for its 15 BTech courses. Both BTech and B.Arch courses are available in Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW). A special 6-year integrated BTech, MBA program is also offered here. In such a situation, 12 different courses are available in IGDTUW, due to which students will get better options according to their interest and career.

How much fees will have to be paid?

To join JAC Delhi 2026, students will have to pay registration and counseling fees of Rs 1500. After depositing the fees, students will be able to choose the college and course of their choice.
