The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has announced a bailout package of $ 1 billion to Pakistan. The office of Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif (PMO) announced this. On behalf of Shahbaz Sharif’s office, it was told that the IMF on Friday (May 9, 2025) approved the immediate amount of $ 1 billion to Pakistan under the current extended fund facility.
