• Worship Lord Vishnu
• Get Vishnu Ji Panchamrit Bath
• Worship yellow flowers, basil, sandalwood, incense-lamp
• Read Vishnu Sahastranam
• Keep waterless fast throughout the day, do not accept anything like food, fruits, water etc. (if you allow health).
• Do the night awakening, perform Bhajan-Kirtan of Srihari and meditate.
• Parana the next day, open a fast with water, fruits or satvik food in Paran Muhurta on the day of Dwadashi.

Bhimseni Ekadashi (bhimseni ekadashi 2025)
Nirjala Ekadashi is also called Bhimseni Ekadashi. According to the legend described in the Mahabharata, Bhimsen could not fast for other Ekadashis, then the sage Ved Vyas advised him to observe Jyeshtha Shukla Ekadashi to observe the waterless fast. According to Skanda Purana then he said-

‘Ekadashyam Jalan Tyaktva Ya: Karoti Vratam Nar.
Sarvapapavinirmukta: Vishnuloke Mahyate॥ ‘
