Actor Imran Khan recently talked about single parenting. He appeared in Parineeti Chopra’s talk show Mom Talks. The actor told that the mothers of daughter Imara’s friends hesitate in sending their children to their house to play. Because there is no female in his house.

Let us tell you that Imran Khan was married to Avantika Malik. But this marriage broke down. He has a daughter from this marriage. He is raising his daughter along with his wife Avantika. His daughter spends three to four days a week with him.

Imran Khan is a single parent

Imran said, ‘I try to make a plan and Imara asks me can you ask this friend if he can come to play? So I find out that friend’s number and message his mother asking, can your children come and play with my daughter? And she says- Sorry, but not today. Next week again I ask if you can come today? So she says- No, not today. Then I started noticing that some mothers were not comfortable sending their children to my house. Especially if she is a girl. Because there is no female in my house. I am a man and I am a father. But after divorce there is no woman in the house now.

Imran further said, ‘We live in a world where there are many problematic people. You can understand where this thinking is coming from. It’s heartbreaking because every week I have to tell my daughter, ‘Sorry, your friends can’t come.’
