As liver problems increase, these marks become more clearly visible. However, it is common to see them on the face, neck and upper body and it is considered an important symptom of liver weakness.

When liver function becomes weak, fluid starts accumulating in the body. Due to this, swelling appears on the face, especially under the eyes. This swelling is more visible in the morning and can gradually persist throughout the day. Many people consider it as lack of sleep or fatigue but it can also be a sign of liver damage.

Liver works to remove toxins from the body. When it does not work properly, toxins start accumulating in the body, due to which problems like acne, eczema and rashes can increase on the skin. This change is especially seen in those people whose liver detox system starts becoming weak.

If there is continuous itching without rashes or rashes, then it can also be a sign of liver related problems. Apart from this, abnormal change in skin color, easy injury or darkening or discoloration of the skin are also considered to be related to liver disease. These changes appear gradually and sometimes continue for months.
