India A vs Sri Lanka A Scorecard: Batting first, the Indian team has scored 265 runs. After the flop of senior batsmen like Vaibhav Suryavanshi to Ruturaj Gaikwad and Tilak Verma, half-century innings of Suryansh Shedge and Vipraj Nigam took Team India to a respectable score. Vaibhav Suryavanshi could score only 21 runs in this match. Whereas Sri Lankan bowler Vijayakanth took maximum three wickets.

After losing the toss, the Indian team was invited to bat first. Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Prabhsimran Singh, both the batsmen had lost their wickets by the score of 39. The 52-run partnership between Rituraj Gaikwad and Tilak Verma somehow took Team India closer to 100.

There were 7 wickets at 143, IPL stars made a splash

At one time Team India had scored 91 runs by losing only 2 wickets, but within the next 52 runs the Indian team lost 5 wickets. Within no time, Team India had lost 7 wickets till the score of 143. It was finding difficult for the Indian team to even reach the score of 200.

From here Suryansh Shedge and Vipraj Nigam took over the Indian innings and made a valuable partnership of 104 runs. Vipraj Nigam, who played for Delhi Capitals in IPL, scored 51 runs in 49 balls. Whereas Punjab Kings’ star batsman Suryansh Shedge played an inning of 72 runs in 66 balls.

Team India has defeated Sri Lanka

This is the second time in this tri-series, when the teams of India and Sri Lanka have come face to face. In the first encounter, India A had registered a thrilling victory by defeating Sri Lanka by 8 runs. After that, Team India was defeated by Afghanistan by 4 runs through DLS method.
