India has made it to the final of the World Cup by defeating Australia by 5 wickets. Now the Indian team will face South Africa in the final on November 2. This is the biggest run chase in Women’s World Cup history. Australia, playing first in the semi-final match, had scored a huge score of 338 runs. While chasing the target of 339 runs, India lost the wickets of Smriti Mandhana (24 runs) and Shefali Verma (10 runs) till the score of 59 runs. After this, Jemimah Rodriguez and Harmanpreet Kaur together made a historic partnership of 167 runs and brought India closer to victory. During this period, Harmanpreet and Rodriguez also got life support several times.

Harmanpreet got out on the score of 89 in the 36th over while trying to play a big shot. From here Rodriguez took the entire responsibility on his shoulders.
