Sunil gavaskar on ind vs eng 2nd test: Veteran cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has erupted on the selection of Team India for the second Test match. The Indian team management has made 3 changes in the playing XI of the second Test, while Jasprit Bumrah was the most shocking decision. Apart from Bumrah, Sai Sudarshan and Shardul Thakur were excluded, on the other hand Nitish Kumar Reddy, Washington Sundar and Akashdeep have been brought in the final-11. Gavaskar believes that Kuldeep Yadav could have been effective on Edgbaston’s pitch.

Discussing an Indian sports channel, Sunil Gavaskar said that he is shocked by the absence of Kuldeep Yadav. He said, “I am shocked that Kuldeep has not been selected, because such pitch for which everyone says that spinners get a very good turn here.”

Team India will not be well like this

Sunil Gavaskar said in an angry manner that if the top-order batsmen of Team India are not scoring runs, then Washington Sundar and Nitish Kumar Reddy’s bringing it to the playing XI is not a solution. Because they are not the batsmen due to which you got failure in the first Test. The team had scored a total of 830 runs in the first Test, which are too many runs. Gavaskar gave advice to Team India and said that when the team needed to do better in bowling, the batting is being given too much attention.

Prior to him, former head coach of the Indian team Ravi Shastri has also expressed anger that he is unable to believe that Jaspreet Bumrah is being excluded from the playing XI. Captain Shubman Gill had told that Gill has been rested from the second Test due to workload management.
