Simon Harmer took 4 wickets and Marco Yanson took 3 wickets. Keshav Maharaj and Corbin Bosch had 1 wicket each. However, only 9 wickets fell for Team India, because due to neck pain, captain Shubman Gill retired and left the field hurt. He had to be taken to the hospital, even today perhaps Rishabh Pant will take charge.

By the end of the second day’s play, South Africa lost 7 wickets for 93 runs in the second innings. The visiting team currently has a lead of only 63 runs and only 3 wickets are left.
