He has been found guilty of Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct. Under this, he has been fined 25 percent of his match fee and has also been given one demerit point. Jaden Seals has received this punishment for the incident that happened on the first day of the Delhi Test. This matter is of October 10, i.e. the first day of the second test. In the 29th over of the Indian innings, Seales threw the ball towards Yashasvi Jaiswal in the follow-through. Due to this the ball hit Jaiswal’s pad.

The Caribbean fast bowler argued that he had thrown the ball towards Jaiswal with the intention of running him out. Match referee Andy Pycroft, after watching the video replay, said that Seales’ throwing of the ball was unfair.

Seales was found guilty of Article 2.9 in the ICC Code of Conduct. According to this, if a player throws the ball inappropriately towards another player in an international cricket match, he will be eligible for punishment.

West Indies have made a comeback

In the Delhi Test, the Indian team declared its first innings at 518 runs. In response, West Indies’ first innings was reduced to just 248 runs. In such a situation, Team India made West Indies follow on, in the second innings also West Indies lost 2 wickets for just 35 runs. After that, the 138-run partnership between John Campbell and Shay Hope brought West Indies back into the match.
