Actress Rakul Preet Singh participated in ABP India 2047 Youth Conclave. She was a part of ‘The Outsider: The X Factor’ session. Here he talked about his fitness journey, work and being an outsider. Rakul told that outsiders get work opportunities in Bollywood but have to work harder.

‘It takes time to get a chance’

Made a place in Bollywood as an outsider, what a struggle it was for Rakul to make this position. In response to this question, Rakul said, ‘It is a matter of thinking. I am not from the industry. I decided that I should become an actor. As you said, there are established people in the industry, how many opportunities do you get. It is not that the opportunity is not available. But it takes more time to get this opportunity.

He further said, ‘Will the director-producer call me for audition or not? How to reach them, the first few years are spent in telling them that I am hello. You have to wander for work. I used to call casting directors, they also did not pick up the phone. Because thousands of people go to become actors. Your first few years are difficult. But it is not that the opportunity is not available. That journey is a little long. I knew about it. My mind was ready. I knew I had no connection. So I knew it would be difficult. You cannot be under the illusion that everything will be done in the first audition itself. You have to work hard. But if you are good, you will get work.

Rakul Preet reacted on nepotism

Apart from this, Rakul Preet said, ‘I do not talk about nepotism. Because my journey has been long. But I will do whatever I can for my children. This is how generation businesses work in India. I think everyone’s journey may be a little different. Today there are many big stars who are outsiders.

Rakul Preet told the secret of fitness

Rakul Preet Singh reacted about her happiness and fitness. Rakul said, ‘I think beauty is not from outside. When you are happy from within, it shows on your face. What kind of person are you, how do you take pressure. What is your outlook? All this is visible on your face. The love of the rest of the audience is visible.

Rakul Preet Singh reacted regarding OTT. He said, ‘I had seen the interview of Aamir Khan sir in which he had said that if you put films on OTT only a month after their release on the big screen, it has an impact. I also think this happens. Movies are coming soon on OTT. I believe that films should be released on OTT at least 6 months after their theatrical release.

Apart from this, Rakul Preet Singh answered questions about diet and upcoming films.

Regarding her diet, Rakul said- I eat rice, pulses, vegetables, non-veg, jowar, ragi, millet, buckwheat, home food.

Which actor does Rakul Preet Singh want to work with? On this the actress said- I want to work with Ranveer Singh and Shahrukh Khan.

Regarding the upcoming films, Rakul Preet Singh said that she will be seen in Pati Patni Aur Do. Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen in this film. She told that another film is coming which I cannot tell about.

India, which is counted among the oldest civilizations in the world, is today going through a phase where its eyes are fixed on the future. The country has seen many ups and downs in the past years, but despite this, India is continuously moving towards becoming a fully developed nation by 2047. To give platform to this thinking and dream, ABP Network has taken a special initiative. India 2047 Youth Conclave is being organized. Where people from different areas of the country are sharing their thoughts and experiences.

The objective of India 2047 Youth Conclave is to connect the youth with the future of the country. On this platform, well-known faces from politics, film, business, education and society are presenting their views. Here the discussion is not only on problems, but also on their solutions and new thinking. The message being given in the program is that the foundation of the future India is in the hands of today’s youth.

Unique initiative to make education easier

In the same conclave, Debanjan Mandal, Principal Partner of The Calcutta Publishers, told about his new efforts in the field of education. He has recently prepared a special mobile app, whose name is EVE i.e. Educational Video for Everyone. The purpose of this app is to explain difficult topics to children in easy language and simple way.

Got new ideas from my weaknesses

While sharing his story from the stage, Debanjan Mandal said that he was not a very good student during his school days. The desire to do something different and better inspired him to think of making education interesting. He realized that if the method of study was changed, children could learn easily.

Real need seen in lockdown

He told that when schools were closed during the lockdown, offline studies stopped completely. At this time, especially the students of Bengal medium had to face a lot of problems. There were very few online resources and even those that were there were not easy. It was during this period that Debanjan Mandal and his brother decided to start a free education service. Debanjan Mandal’s dream is that the students studying in Bengal medium can also stand on the same platform with the students of big and renowned schools of the country.

Easy videos on every topic

Debanjan Mandal told that there are videos for almost every subject in this app. Each chapter has been explained by dividing it into small parts, so that children can learn without any fear. Concepts are explained through simple examples, due to which students can understand quickly and interest in studies also remains.

Completely free, just for learning

The EVE platform is completely free. There is no profit motive behind this. Debanjan Mandal says that his aim is only to inspire the youth and give them an opportunity to learn better. His entire family is standing with him in this work and together they are taking this mission forward.

Next step related to new technology

Recently Debanjan Mandal has launched another app Cracker. This app helps students to prepare for different exams. In this, students can practice for many exams. The special thing is that this app is based on AI technology, which gives questions and exercises according to the needs of the students.

The India 2047 Youth Conclave organized by ABP Network revealed a strong message on Indian entrepreneurship and the growing power of homegrown brands. On this platform, Gaurav Mehta, founder of Jaipur Watch Company, shared the story of his startup’s journey and explained how an Indian brand can move towards global recognition despite limited resources and tough competition.

Gaurav Mehta told that wearing his company’s watch on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a very emotional and shocking moment for him. Let us tell you that the Prime Minister has been wearing a watch of Jaipur Watch Company, which has a lion engraved on it, for the last 8 months. On this, Gaurav Mehta clearly said, ‘This was not the result of any promotion, gift or request. PM Modi wore his watch as per his personal choice, which gave confidence and new identity to his brand.

A journey full of 13 years of struggle and learning

Gaurav Mehta said that the journey of the last 13 years has not been easy, but every stage taught something new. At a time when the Indian market was dominated by foreign watches, it was a big challenge to establish an unknown local brand. His interest in watches since childhood inspired him to step into this field.

Startup started without any big plan

Recalling the beginning of Jaipur Watch Company, he said that the first collection was launched in the year 2013 and the second in 2015. At that time he neither had big investment nor any big business plan. He said that when the first watch was ready, the biggest challenge was how to deliver it to the customers. Despite limited budget and resources, he took the brand forward with patience.

Indian culture is the biggest strength

Talking about themed watches related to Ram Temple and Indian heritage, Gaurav Mehta said that they do not have the huge marketing capability like foreign brands, but their connection with Indian culture is their biggest strength. He admitted that for a long time Indian consumers have had the mentality of considering foreign brands as better, but now this thinking is changing rapidly. He told that in a program at Ram Mandir, PM Modi was wearing a watch of Jaipur Watch Company in his hand. Apart from this, many other leaders wear our company’s watches.

Desi and traditional trends are returning among the youth

According to Gaurav Mehta, today’s youth is again returning to their Indian roots. Despite the era of smartwatches, the demand for traditional and classic watches is again increasing. He said that positive growth is visible in the Indian watch market, which is bringing big opportunities for local brands.

India 2047 Youth Conclave is being organized by ABP Network. In this special program, people from different areas of the country are communicating directly with the youth. Well-known personalities associated with politics, films, education, business and social service are sharing their experiences and thoughts here. The objective of this platform is to connect the youth with the future of the country and show them a new direction.

During the conclave, Anshu Gupta, founder and director of Goonj, an organization working in the field of social service, shared heart-touching experiences. He told how a small thought took the form of a big movement today. Narrating an incident from his early days, Anshu Gupta said that once he was roaming in the streets of Old Delhi. There he saw a woman whose job was to pick up unclaimed dead bodies with the help of the police.

He told that in the year 1991, the woman used to get only Rs 20 and a white cloth for this work. When this situation was carefully understood, a shocking thing came to light. While in summer, 4 to 5 dead bodies had to be lifted every day, in winter this number increased to 10 to 12. The reason for this was not the cold, but the lack of warm clothes among the poor people. People lost their lives due to lack of clothes to protect themselves from the cold.

What did Anshu Gupta say?

Referring to that woman’s daughter Bano, Anshu Gupta said that Bano had once told that when she feels cold, she goes near the dead body and sticks to it, because the dead body does not change its side. Hearing this, everyone’s heart was filled with joy. This experience completely changed Anshu Gupta’s thinking and it was from here that the foundation of Goonj was laid.

He told that Goonj started with only 67 clothes. Today this organization has been working for 27 years. Anshu Gupta said that when we give old clothes or goods to someone, we call it donation. But the truth is that if the goods are not given properly and with respect, then they become a burden and not a donation. Goonj tried to change this thinking.

He told that the purpose of Goonj is not to make anyone feel helpless or weak for help. Here the needy are given help with respect and not pity. The organization collects all kinds of useful items from across the country and then family kits are prepared from them. These kits are sent to thousands of villages, where people can use them as per their need.

Changed thinking regarding silk thread

Shwetabh Ranjan, Chief Mentor of Weaver Stories also expressed his views in the programme. He shared a different and new thinking regarding silk thread. Shwetabh Ranjan told that his method is completely based on non-violence. Generally, silkworms are killed to prepare silk, but this is not done in their model.

Actor Shiv Pandit also participated in ABP Network’s India 2047 Youth Conclave. Shiv has been seen with Akshay Kumar in films like Boss, Shershah, Khuda Hafiz, Lal Singh Chaddha, while in the Youth Conclave, Shiv expressed his frank opinion on various issues ranging from Indian cinema to rejection and nepotism. Do you know what he said?

Told cinema as business
Actor Shiv Pandit spoke on Indian cinema in the India 2047 Youth Conclave. He said, “If cinema is seen as a social service, people will stop watching films. Cinema is like a business.”

What did Shiv Pandit say about the rejection?
Shiv Pandit said, ‘Rejection shows you the path. Tells you what you lack. It is not at all that it is more difficult in films and less in broadcasting. There are ups and downs in every industry.

What did Shiv Pandit say on nepotism?
During this period, Shiv Pandit also talked about the issue of nepotism. He said, ‘I have no problem with nepotism at all. Would you not like to take your child forward, I would say that it is like a responsibility. I do not consider nepotism wrong. Film industry is business. Nepotism also remains only up to a limit, if the film does not do then no one will cause any harm to themselves.

Told Akshay Kumar to be disciplined
Shiv Pandit has done a film with Akshay Kumar. While praising Akshay, Shiv Pandit said, ‘He is a very disciplined person. This is the only way to succeed. If you work hard continuously then you can make your dream come true.

Shiv wants to play the role of Lakhan
Shiv said that he wanted to play the role of Lakhan but now he is getting more roles of Ram. Still he wishes to play such a character.

What did Shiv Pandit say about trolling?
Regarding trolling, Shiv Pandit said, ‘I always keep laughing. I keep these things very light. To survive in the industry, it is necessary to have a thick skin. If I had not been thick skinned, I would not have been sitting on this stage today. If you get upset over every small thing then there will be problems.

What did Shiva say about the success of Dhurandhar?
Shiv Pandit also talked about the success of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar. He said, ‘There may be bloodshed in Dhurandhar, but people are liking it. These types of films are going on. People are going to the theatre. When a script is written, it is said that the public has to be engaged in 10 minutes, in such a situation the story is written keeping this in mind. Although he has not seen this film yet but he wants to see it in the theatre.

What did Shiv say on the pressure of working with big stars?
Shiv said that there is pressure when working with big stars and it is possible that my role may have been shortened due to this but I do not focus on it. What matters to me is that I perform by focusing on the character. I want to utilize my energy.

Shiv Pandit gave this mantra to the youth
While giving a message to the youth, Shiv Pandit said, ‘I was very worried about my personal life for some time, then I had found a mantra for myself. I did three things. I am a devotee of Hanuman ji. I did my work, worked out and prayed. We should not repeat our mistakes.

Union Minister and BJP leader Kiren Rijiju participated in the ABP Network India 2047 Youth Conclave on 20 January 2026. During this, he talked about everything from Rahul Gandhi to Muslims. Rijiju said that being the minority minister, I have done a lot of work for Muslims. No minister before me had done such work. Hajj and Umrah made easy. At the same time, Rahul Gandhi said that he had jokingly invited him to come home. Apart from this, he has also said a big thing about BJP President Nitin Nabin.

What did Rijiju say on making Nitin Nabin the party president?

Kiren Rijiju said that the constitution of BJP party is very strict. The process of appointing the national president of BJP happens as per the rules. The nomination form has to be checked very carefully before it is signed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Rijiju said, ‘Internal mechanism was worked out to make Nitin Nabin the party president. Many people aspire to become the party president, but the responsibility is given only to a selected person who passes the test. It is noteworthy that the party wanted young leadership, that is why Nitin Nabin’s name came forward. When Kiren Rijiju was asked whether he was also young, he laughingly replied – ‘I am not so young anymore.’

What did Rijiju say on Rahul Gandhi?

Kiren Rijiju said about Rahul Gandhi, ‘I jokingly asked, don’t you feel cold, he told me to do exercise. He invited me to his home gym. Although it was a joke. Rijiju was asked why you did not go to the gym even when you were invited? So Rijiju said, ‘I am the Parliamentary Affairs Minister. Now if I go to the Leader of Opposition’s house every morning for gym, it will not be right.

Rijiju said that there is a limit to joking, we should stay within that limit. If I go then the limit will be crossed. This would be too much.

What did Rijiju say on the budget?

Kiren Rijiju said on Budget 2026 that this budget session will be very dedicated and focused. In its first part, the President will address on 28 January and then the budget will be presented in the House on 1 February 2026 (Sunday). Then the entire session will be limited to the budget only. However, if any bill or business comes in the meantime then it is a different matter.

Regarding the opposition, Kiren Rijiju said that nothing is achieved by creating ruckus in the House. This wastes the time of the House and we are not able to present a good result to the country. For this, the opposition will have to be responsible so that such mistakes do not happen in the budget this time.

What did Rijiju say on Muslims?

Kiren Rijiju said, ‘For years, Congress has poisoned the minds of the public that the Bharatiya Janata Party is anti-Muslim. For this reason, BJP is not able to win in Muslim dominated areas even after fielding Muslim candidates. From ration to houses, the BJP government provides all kinds of benefits to Muslims also. Our government has also worked for Haj pilgrimage. Many Muslims have also prayed for me.

Kiren Rijiju said, ‘It is not that BJP does not field Muslim candidates. Even if BJP fields Muslim candidates in Muslim areas, it still loses. There is not a single scheme of PM Modi which does not benefit the Muslim communities. Muslims get the benefit of every program and every scheme. Then why don’t Muslims vote?

A clear and inspiring vision of India’s future emerged in the India 2047 Youth Conclave organized by ABP Network. This program was addressed by Sumant Dutta, CEO of ABP Network and gave a clear, inspiring and responsible message about the future of India. He said that this conference is not just an event, but a symbol of the responsibility of an entire generation.

In his address, Sumant Dutta recalled the circumstances of India after independence. He said that in 1947 the literacy rate of the country was only 12 percent and the economy was very weak. Despite severe shortage of resources, the youth of that era did not lose courage. He built the railway network, laid the foundation of public enterprises, wrote the Constitution and strengthened democracy. In the same period, media institutions played an important role in nation building by asking questions and giving direction to public opinion. Today’s India presents a completely different picture from that period.

youth population of india

CEO Sumant Dutta said that at present more than 65 percent of the country’s population is below 35 years of age. India has become the fifth largest economy in the world and has the third largest startup ecosystem in the world with more than 100 unicorns. He clearly said that this change is not a coincidence, but is the result of the combination of the ambition of the youth and the right opportunities.

Example given by Neeraj Chopra

Sumant Dutta emphasized on four big areas that will shape the future of India. He said that India is progressing rapidly in terms of economic leadership. Indian youth have now become not just adopters but also leaders in technology and innovation. India’s global identity is being strengthened through culture and soft power. He described sports as a symbol of national confidence. Giving the example of Neeraj Chopra’s Olympic gold medal, he said that it was not just a medal, but a change in thinking. This sent the message that even an Indian coming from a small town can become the best in the world.

What did the CEO say about Artificial Intelligence?

Sumant Dutta said that by 2047, India’s working population is likely to be around one billion. If this population becomes skilled and capable then it will become the biggest strength of the country, but if employment and skill opportunities are not available then this population can turn under pressure. Today, Indian youth are making their mark globally in areas like Artificial Intelligence, Fintech, Startups and Space Technology.

‘The journey till 2047 is not easy’

However, Sumant Dutta also made it clear that the journey till 2047 is not easy. Issues like large-scale employment generation, skill gap between education and industry, low female workforce participation, challenge of climate change and mental health of youth are matters of serious concern. He said that the dream of developed India cannot be fulfilled by ignoring these problems.

CEO’s appeal to youth

At the end of the address, Sumant Dutta appealed to the youth not to just wait for opportunities, but to lead the change. He said that ABP Network will continue to provide a national platform to the voices of the youth, because the India of 2047 will be shaped by the thinking, decisions and actions of today’s youth.

After the Covid pandemic, work from home culture changed the definition of the world of work. The system which was once considered a compulsion, has now become a permanent policy of many companies. Working from home saved time and travel costs, improved work life balance and increased reliance on digital tools. However, with this came challenges like blurring of boundaries between work and personal life, distance in teamwork and mental pressure. Overall, after Covid, work from home completely changed the perspective of working. However, now most of the companies have ended the work from home culture.

In ABP Network’s event Entrepreneurship Conclave, Smartworks Co-Founder Harsh Binani talked about work from home culture and explained why it cannot become the future and why companies are not focusing on it for cost cutting.

How will the workplace evolve after 20 years?

Harsh Binani, Co-Founder of Smartworks, was asked that how will the workplace develop in the coming 20 years, like at present it is mostly running in physical mode, but can it develop in hybrid mode or in some other way in the future? Talking about this, Harsh Binani said that change will keep happening. Today’s Indian youth knows about the world, he knows that just as Google’s office is in San Francisco, he wants the same in Delhi or Pune. So nowadays times are changing. It is very difficult to predict what will happen in the coming 20 years.

Why is work from home not the future in India?

Harsh Binani further said that there will be no change in human connection in the coming times. India is not completely made for work from home. In India it is always important to have human connection. After Covid, there was a big phase where work from home was very prevalent. But now if you see in 2-3 years, regular working from office and hybrid mode has become a regular arrangement. Now work from home is not the future, but yes now it has definitely changed to hybrid mode. Apart from this, there will be experience in the workplace and in the coming times, there will be leasing of workplace instead of ownership.

Union Food Processing Industries Minister Chirag Paswan said in the program of ABP Network, ‘Ever since coalition politics started, my experience is that you are given less. NDA alliance has given me a lot. A party with one MP was given 5 seats. Gave 29 seats to the party with zero MLAs (Chirag’s LJP). Out of 29 seats, 26 were lost seats. There were many seats where NDA had never won.

Chirag Paswan said why should I be greedy

On the matter of demanding more from the alliance, Chirag said, ‘I am getting a lot without asking. Then why should I be greedy? We also did not believe that there would be such a big victory. My estimate was up to 175 seats.

Regarding any meeting with Congress, Chirag said that I do not know whether any such meeting has taken place. Anyone who knows Chirag will not be able to do such a thing. PM means a lot to me. I am in this alliance because of my PM.

What did Chirag say on the question of becoming CM and Deputy CM?

Chirag said, ‘I have come into politics because of Bihar. I worry why Biharis have to go to other states. After becoming an MP for the third time, I have understood that to make Bihar first and Bihari first, I have to go to Bihar. For me, my party is like my mother. Has handled the party in adverse circumstances.

On the demand of becoming the Deputy CM, Chirag said that even before the elections, I had no condition that I should be made the Deputy CM and there was no condition even after. I am not greedy for it.

Chirag has already given the statement ‘I am not greedy’

In the results of Bihar elections in November 2025, Chirag’s party Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) contested on 29 seats and won 19 seats. His party got two ministries in the government, but did not get the post of Deputy CM. While talking to the media on this, Chirag had said, ‘How much more greedy can I be? Now even after this, if I ask for something more from the alliance, no one will be more greedy than me.

It is said that thousands of years ago India was the largest center of knowledge in the entire world. Students from all over the world used to come to study in universities like Nalanda-Takshashila and Vikramshila. Now the question arises whether India will ever be able to achieve that position again, then the answer lies in 2047. In fact, the way India’s education sector is progressing, the day is not far when India will once again be called Vishwa Guru. The situation will be such that people from all over the world will yearn to study in this center of knowledge. How will all this happen, let us know?

How was the pride of ancient India?

In ancient times, India was the global hub of education. Great scholars like Chanakya, Panini and Charak studied in Takshashila University (sixth century BC). Martial arts, medicine, mathematics, philosophy and Vedas were taught here. Thousands of students from Greece, China and Persia used to come to India for studies. Let us tell you that in the 5th century, Nalanda University was the largest educational center in the world. There were 10 thousand students and 2 thousand teachers here. Scholars like Chinese traveler Hiuen Tsang and Itsing have also mentioned it. Apart from this, Vikramshila and Odantpuri were also very famous. According to UNESCO reports, these centers were the world’s first international universities. Nalanda has been revived to make history a part of the present and future. Under this, a new Nalanda University has been built in Rajgir (Bihar). PM Modi says that this university will return the old glory and start a new golden era.

Fast growing education sector

The market of higher education in India is expanding rapidly. More than 4 crore students are enrolled in higher education in 2025. According to AISHE report 2024-25, the Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) has reached close to 30 percent. At the same time, the target of NEP 2020 is to increase it to 50 percent by 2035. Apart from this, the number of foreign students in India is increasing. In 2025, more than 72 thousand foreign students are studying in India, who have come from 200 countries. These mainly include students from Nepal, Afghanistan, Africa and the Middle East.

India is making waves in the world rankings too

Indian universities are continuously making progress in the world rankings. India’s 54 universities are included in the QS World University Rankings 2026, which were only 11 in 2015. IIT Delhi is the top Indian university, whose global rank is 123. Whereas, IIT Bombay is at 129th position, IIT Madras is at 180th position. Apart from this, 128 institutions of India are included in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026, which is second after America. IISc Bangalore, JNU and Manipal University are on top in NIRF Ranking 2025.

India will become a hub of global knowledge

According to NITI Aayog CEO BVR Subramaniam, 5 lakh foreign students will study in India by 2047. India will become a global provider of education sector. Education is a separate chapter in NITI Aayog’s ‘Developed India 2047’ vision document. By 2047, India will become a 30-40 trillion dollar economy, in which knowledge-based industries will be important. The EY-FICCI report ‘Higher Education in India: Vision 2047’ states that NEP will make India a major education hub of the world. GER will be 50%. Universities will become multidisciplinary.

These schemes will give wings to progress

National Education Policy (NEP 2020): This is the biggest change. There are plans to increase focus on multidisciplinary education, flexible degrees and research. Facility of 4 year degree, multiple entry-exit will also be provided. FYUP (Four Year Undergraduate Programme) has been implemented in many universities by 2025. Foreign universities like Deakin (Australia), Wollongong and Southampton are opening campuses in India. Zanzibar campus of IIT Madras and Abu Dhabi campus of IIT Delhi have started.

Study in India and Internationalization: Plans have also been made to attract foreign students. For this, a blueprint has been prepared for the arrival of 5 lakh foreign students by 2047. There are preparations for easy visas, scholarships and international offices in every university. Due to UGC rules, dual degree, joint degree and student exchange are increasing. IITs and IIMs are opening campuses abroad.

Digital Education and EdTech: Online education is being imparted through SWAYAM, DIKSHA and National Digital University (launched in 2025). Courses are being made advanced with AI and VR. Students from far and wide are getting involved in EdTech.

Research and Innovation: Continuous funding is being provided for research and innovation from the National Research Foundation (NRF). Top universities have been given autonomy from the Institution of Eminence (IoE). Research score is increasing in QS and THE rankings.

Why will people from all over the world come to India to study?

Education in America and Britain is very expensive, whereas education in India will be cheap and of good quality. The courses from NEP will be of global standard. Indian culture, yoga, Ayurveda and Indian knowledge system will attract foreign students. Affordable living, safe campuses will make things better. It is believed that the number of students coming from Asia-Africa will be more, but the inclination of students from western countries will also increase towards India.
