Scored an explosive century against UAE

One of Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s best performances in this tournament came against UAE, where he played an explosive inning of 144 runs in just 42 balls. During this innings he hit 15 sixes and 11 fours. India has secured a place in the semi-finals of the Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament by defeating Oman by 6 wickets. India has now become the second country after Pakistan to enter the semi-finals from Group B. It was a do or die match for both the teams, in which Oman team scored 135 runs while playing first. Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s bat did not work, but Harsh Dubey’s unbeaten half-century of 53 runs ensured Team India’s place in the semi-finals.

In the match, the Indian team won the toss and chose to bowl first. For Oman, Wasim Ali played an unbeaten inning of 54 runs, while Hammad Mirza also contributed 32 runs. Apart from him, no other batsman from Oman could play a big innings. Indian bowlers allowed Oman to score only 42 runs in the last 45 balls and also took five wickets.
