The Taliban government of Afghanistan has made it clear to Pakistan that Kabul will no longer run its foreign policy under any external pressure. Taliban Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi openly reacted to Pakistan’s uneasiness over the growing closeness with India and said that Afghanistan builds relations based on its interests and not according to the preferences of any neighbor.

Muttaqi said in a meeting of political analysts that Pakistan should not have a problem with the fact that Afghanistan is strengthening relations with India. He said that if Pakistan itself can maintain diplomatic contacts with India then no one can stop Afghanistan from doing so. Muttaki also said that Pakistan has been trying to control Afghan foreign policy for a long time, but this period is now over.

Sharp comment on Pakistan’s political chaos

The Afghan Foreign Minister also took a dig at the internal situation of Pakistan. He referred to the statement in which Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar had admitted that even for a small decision, permission is required from both the Prime Minister and the Army Chief. Muttaqi quipped that there are so many centers in Pakistan that it is difficult to understand who actually takes the decisions. He said that the effect of this chaos is visible on every decision of Pakistan.

Taliban’s taunt

Muttaki said that Pakistan’s relations with almost every neighboring country are tense and this problem is not limited to Afghanistan. According to him, there is constant conflict between Pakistan’s political parties, religious groups and its own people. The Taliban minister claimed that relations on all other borders of Afghanistan are normal and commercial, while Pakistan is the only neighbor with which tension remains.

Serious allegations on air violation and stopping business

Taliban has made many allegations against Pakistan in recent months. Kabul says that Pakistan violated Afghan airspace several times and arbitrarily closed trade routes along the border. Muttaqi also said that Afghan refugees are being mistreated in Pakistan, which is further worsening the relations between the two countries. Taliban says that they have shown patience, but it would not be right for Pakistan to consider it as weakness.

India on Tuesday (October 21, 2025) has announced a major change in its embassy located in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. The Ministry of External Affairs has announced that India will upgrade its political presence in Afghanistan from a technical mission to the level of a full embassy. This step is part of India’s growing engagement with the Taliban government.
Foreign Minister of Taliban government of Afghanistan, Amir Khan Muttaki is currently on a tour of India. Meanwhile, AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi has given a big statement regarding India’s relations with Taliban. Owaisi said that India should not be limited to just talks, but should establish full diplomatic relations with Kabul.

Owaisi said in an interview that India should increase contacts with Taliban to protect its national security and political interests. He said, ‘I had said in Parliament in 2016 that Taliban will return to power, hence talks with them are necessary. Today they have a government and their foreign minister is in India, while Pakistan is bombing them. Do you see how this is going? We should maintain full diplomatic relations with Kabul. Owaisi says that India’s presence in Afghanistan is important not only from diplomatic but also from security and geopolitical point of view.

Current relations between Taliban and India

India has not directly recognized the Taliban government since their occupation of Afghanistan. However, India is maintaining limited talks with the Taliban regime in the name of humanitarian assistance. After the Taliban capture of Kabul in 2021, India closed its embassy, but later sent a technical team there, which is playing a role in humanitarian aid and communication. India is cautious that its national security should not be affected by the activity of terrorist groups in Afghanistan, but Owaisi believes that maintaining distance will reduce India’s influence and increase the dominance of China and Pakistan in the region.

India benefits from Chabahar Port: Owaisi

Owaisi also mentioned Iran’s Chabahar port in his statement. He said that India should develop a new route from this port to Afghanistan. According to Owaisi, Chabahar is strategically important for India. If India builds a direct route from there to Afghanistan, its position will be stronger than China and Pakistan. India is already investing in developing Chabahar Port to reduce its dependence on Pakistan’s Karachi Port. Owaisi says that if India increases economic and strategic partnership with Afghanistan, it will strengthen its position in the entire region.

Rethinking India’s role in Afghanistan

After the withdrawal of Taliban in Afghanistan, India’s policy has been wait and watch. India has not given official recognition to the Taliban regime in any form, but has maintained contacts through humanitarian assistance, food aid and health programmes. However, experts say that maintaining complete distance from Taliban may cause loss to India. At the same time, leaders like Owaisi are arguing that India should re-establish its influence in Afghanistan.

Deteriorating relations between Taliban and Pakistan

Owaisi also commented on the relations between Pakistan and Taliban in his statement. He said that Pakistan, which was once a supporter of Taliban, is now bombing them. This shows that there are no permanent friends or enemies in international politics. India should take advantage of this situation and strengthen its presence in Kabul. This statement has come at a time when tension is at its peak regarding the Durand Line on the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan, and the Taliban has intensified attacks on Pakistani posts.

A travel video that recently surfaced from Afghanistan has attracted a lot of people’s attention on social media. In this video, an Indian tourist can be seen showing unexpectedly warm behavior to Taliban soldiers at a check post. The video was recorded on the Indian’s helmet-mounted camera and offers a unique glimpse into the country’s tough image.

The video shows that as the man approaches a checkpoint, two armed Taliban soldiers stop him to check his passport and documents. During this time, when Taliban soldiers asked him about his destination and citizenship, he told that he was going to Kabul and is a citizen of India. On hearing this, the behavior of the Taliban soldier suddenly changes. He starts smiling and allows the Indian motorist to proceed without any document check.

Indian motorist shared the video on Instagram, it went viral

This video was first shared on social media platform by travel blogger Gaurav Sharma with his ID @wander.da. He wrote in the caption of this video post, ‘While traveling by bike in Afghanistan, one has to pass through many Taliban checkpoints every day, and the conversations during this are often very interesting, especially when you tell them that you are from India.’

People reacted on the video

A large number of people have seen, liked and shared this video posted on Instagram. Apart from Instagram, this video is going viral on many other social media platforms. Many people made positive comments on this video, while some also criticized it.

One user wrote on this, ‘To be honest, a lot of credit goes to Bollywood in this. This has created strong soft power for India. Our films and the people of the film industry have a big contribution in our image and reputation in the world today. Another wrote, ‘Interesting that you were treated like this at the check post. I recently also saw a video of an Indian woman who was passing through Afghanistan, but the behavior of these people with her was quite different.

At the same time, another user said in a critical tone, ‘Many people are applauding and happy to visit a country which systematically suppresses women, snatches their basic rights and humiliates their existence. No sensible comment is raising the question as to why the people of India are encouraging travel to a country with conditions like Afghanistan. Seriously, can a woman move around there with the same freedom and clothes?’

Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir on Kashmir: Pakistan’s Field Marshal General Asim Munir has once again raised poison against India. Asim Munir said to support terrorism as a struggle and support him.

The Pak Army Chief said, ‘Political-physical-moral support for terrorism will continue. We are standing firmly with them to resolve the rights of Kashmiri people and long -standing disputes. According to the proposal of the United Nations Security Council and the aspiration of the people of Kashmir, what India calls terrorism is a truly valid struggle.

Asim Munir said, ‘The world has to understand that without the just and peaceful solutions of the Kashmir issue, regional peace will always remain unattainable and will always be a threat in South Asia. I pay tribute to those who are struggling for the right to self -determination in JK, their firmness will never be less.

India has responded to two bluntly about Kashmir

India has repeatedly clarified that Kashmir is an integral part of India, whose constitutional status was further explained on 5 August 2019. Pakistan has been promoting communal hatred and terrorism in Kashmir. On international forums, India has described Pakistan as the center of terrorism, especially with organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and TRF. India emphasizes that Pakistan’s support is actually military training, funding and logistic assistance, which is given to terrorists.

After all, why is Asim Munir openly supporting terrorism?

This statement of Asim Munir came at a time when Pakistan’s economy has crumbled. Terrorist attacks are increasing in Waziristan, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Pakistan is being isolated on international forums. In this context, Kashmir card “Playing is the old strategy of Pakistan so that the attention of its citizens can be diverted from internal problems.

What is the truth of United Nations and Kashmir?

Pakistan often speaks of United Nations resolutions, but the truth is that UNSC Resolution 47 (1948) had a clear condition that Pakistan would first remove all terrorists and illegal elements from its region, which has not happened till date. Pakistan never took the process of peace seriously and only promoted terrorism. The issue of Kashmir in the United Nations is now considered inactive and most countries have accepted it in the internal matter of India.

Asim Munir Blames India For Terrorism: On the contrary, the Dante Kotwal’s Dante Kotwal sits accurate on Pakistan’s Fled (Field) Marshal Asim Munir. This is because Munir has accused India of being the largest country to spread terrorism.

On Friday (June 27), Munir once again poisoned India during an event in Rawalpindi. Munir tried to dismantle terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, calling India’s domestic problem.

India expose Pakistan after the Pahalgam attack, Munir is stunned

After the Pahalgam terror attack (April 22), the way India has exposed Pakistan around the world, Munir is bound to be furious. Even before the Pahalgam attack, Munir gave an inflammatory speech against India and Hindus.

Terrorist attack took place in Pahalgam after Munir’s inflammatory speech

It was only after Munir’s speech that jihadi organizations operating from Pakistan conspired for a massacre of innocent tourists in Pahalgam, in which a total of 26 tourists were killed. After this massacre, India raised the operation vermilion and destroyed nine (09) terrorist bases in Pakistan. Also, 11 airbase of Pakistani Air Force were also ruined.

On stopping the operation of Operation Sindoor, he said- ,Thank Allah,

During the program, Munir also thanked Allah for ceasefire from India during Operation Sindoor. Whereas the reality is that on the insistence of Pakistan, India had stopped military action. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump entered the tension between India and Pakistan and took a credit for ceasefire. Trump’s entry made Pakistan, America so adorned that the US President was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Sco In the summit, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh described Pakistan as an episode of terrorism

On Thursday (June 26), India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh killed Pakistan in a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Sangathan (SCO) in Chingdao, China, calling Pakistan an epicenter of global terrorism. Rajnath Singh had declared Lashkar-e-Taiba, the terrorist organization, who had grown in Pakistan, the Front, The Registration Force (TRF), who carried out the Pahalgam attack. Apart from Russia and China, Pakistan Defense Minister Khwaja Asif was also present in this meeting.

Munir is trying to create a rift in India-Afghanistan

Munir has called upon the neighboring country Afghanistan to dissect relations with India, while crying for being an Islamic nation. India’s growing proximity to Afghanistan is also not pleasing to the Pakistani army chief. In such a situation, Munir has advised Afghanistan not to have relations with institutions and organizations associated with India.

India Relaunches Visa Services for Afghanistan: India and Afghanistan’s relations are increasing in relations amid tension in relations with neighboring Pakistan. India has resumed visa services for Afghan citizens amidst increasing warmth in relations with the Taliban. However, initially India will issue visas to the sick people of Afghanistan on the basis of cases.

The central government has issued a notification on the official visa portal indianvisaonline.gov.in. Through this, the Central Government has launched the ‘New Afghan Visa’ module. It includes six category visas. However, quoting high -level sources, ET said, the Government of India will give priority to visas on the basis of severity of health problems for the citizens of Afghanistan.

Government of India updates visa portal

The Government of India has updated its official visa portal. On this new updated portal, the visa category has included students, business, medical, medical attendants, entry and United Nation Diplomat Visa. To issue visa, applicants are required to upload their passport and national identity card with a recent front-facing photo. These documents should include personal information including the name, date of birth, nationality and expiry date of the applicant.

Diplomatic connectivity between India and Taliban rule

Visa services for Afghan citizens on behalf of India have been started through increasing diplomatic contact between India and Taliban rule. Last month, India’s Foreign Minister S.K. Jaishankar had a phone conversation with Taliban Foreign Minister Aamir Khan Mottaki. During this time, Mottaki condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, for which S.K. Jaishankar thanked him.

The Taliban government of Afghanistan wants to use both the International North-South Transport Corridor (Instc) and Chabahar Port to do international trade, so that the Taliban can reduce its dependence on Pakistani ports. However, India-Afghanistan-Iran has already agreed to a tripartite agreement on Chabahar Port.
