Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav was seen exploring political possibilities for his party in Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur for two days. During his tour, he fired fierce political arrows at Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and the ruling BJP.

However, these arrows of Akhilesh seemed to sting the ally Congress more than the BJP. BJP did not make any special counter attack on the SP chief, but Congress definitely gave him an ultimatum through gestures. Before the situation with Congress worsened and the relations between ‘India’ alliance got strained, Akhilesh Yadav ended all the confusion of Congress by giving a firm statement.

Akhilesh’s activism in Jaipur and sympathy with Vasundhara Raje

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav reached Jaipur on Friday (April 10). Here he participated in many private programs and also met big leaders of other parties. While addressing the media, he fiercely attacked CM Bhajanlal Sharma and the BJP government. Interestingly, he expressed sympathy with BJP’s national vice president and former CM Vasundhara Raje and said, “If Vasundhara Raje had been the CM of Rajasthan, the situation here would have been better.”

Congress’s ultimatum: ‘We alone are capable of defeating’

Due to the increasing activism of Akhilesh Yadav in Rajasthan, there was uneasiness in the Congress camp. When Congress Legislature Party Chief Whip and Adarsh ​​Nagar MLA Rafiq Khan was questioned on this, he replied bluntly.

Rafiq Khan said, “Everyone has the right to work for their party and organization. Congress is in a strong position in Rajasthan and is capable of defeating BJP single-handedly. Akhilesh Yadav is currently a part of the India alliance, but even if he does not support Congress in the Rajasthan elections, we will defeat BJP on our own.”

Akhilesh ended the confusion, made a big announcement on UP elections

When Akhilesh Yadav was questioned after this harsh statement by Congress leader Rafiq Khan, he clarified the situation without any delay. He made it clear that at present he has no intention of contesting the elections alone in Rajasthan.

His main target is Uttar Pradesh, where he wants to defeat BJP. Making a big announcement, Akhilesh said, “At present there is no intention of forming an alliance with any new big party in UP. The coordination that is currently there with the Congress party, the same alliance will work in the upcoming assembly elections also.”

Big heart or political compulsion?

Even before the departure of Akhilesh Yadav, the stir created in the Congress camp regarding his visit cooled down in a moment. However, the question now floating in the political circles is whether this should be considered Akhilesh’s generosity or political compulsion?

In fact, in the Lok Sabha elections held two years ago, SP had given a political defeat to BJP in UP by getting the support of Congress. The political battle of 2027 is going to take place in UP just one and a half year before the Rajasthan Assembly elections. In such a situation, Akhilesh Yadav does not want to take any risk of angering his most important ally (Congress) before the UP elections.
