Water Minister CR Patil revealed the secret on India’s move appeared first on .

In ABP News’ special program India@2047 Conclave, Union Jal Shakti Minister CR Patil talked about water for every household and the works of the Central Government. During this, he also told that by when will India completely cut off the water from Pakistan. After the Pahalgam terrorist attack, India adopted the policy of not separating terrorism and talks and took the tough step of suspending the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan.

Pakistan’s water will be completely shut off

Union Minister CR Patil was asked by when India will completely cut off water from Pakistan. In response to this he said, ‘The water has been stopped. Right now we do not have a system to store water, but work is being done on it. In the next two years, this water will be supplied to wherever there is water shortage. Water will be supplied to Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Delhi. Today there is no water in Yamuni that is why it looks dirtier. It needs more water.

CR Patil also clarified that water security has now become not only a subject of development but also an important part of national security and strategic policy. He said that the government is working on this entire issue keeping in mind “long-term and national interest”.

Jal Shakti Minister spoke on the achievements of Modi government

During the tenure of PM Modi, a big scheme of Rs 8 lakh crore of tap water was launched to provide water to every house. It has been asked to clean all the rivers of the country and connect them with big rivers. Within cleanliness also, about 12 crore toilets were built and due to this the habits of 60 crore people have changed. If we have to make a developed India by 2047 and no one in our country has a toilet, there is no tap water in their house, then how can this be a developed India?

According to CR Patil, under the Jal Jeevan Mission, till now tap water has been supplied to 16 crore houses of the country. He said that earlier complaints like “there is tap but no water” were coming from many states, but the government took it seriously and prepared a technology-based monitoring system. The pipeline network has been mapped on the PM Gatishakti platform so that the water supply system can be further strengthened.

Improvement came from Jal Jeevan Mission: CR Patil

He said that rural women have got the biggest benefit of this scheme. Earlier, about 9 crore women had to travel long distances to fetch water from far-flung areas, but now both their time and effort are being saved. Citing the WHO report, he said that Jal Jeevan Mission has brought about a major improvement in the health and standard of living of the people.

Regarding water crisis, Patil said that India receives about 4000 BCM of rainfall every year, but the biggest problem is not the shortage of water but its management. Keeping this in mind, the government is working rapidly on water conservation, scientific survey and river linking projects.

He said that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s dream of river linking is now moving forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Ken-Betwa project will provide water to more than 10 lakh hectares of land, while work is also going on at a fast pace on the PKC project to solve the water problem of Rajasthan.

Imtiyaz Ali On Ranveer Singh: Famous Bollywood director Imtiaz Ali is in the headlines these days for his upcoming film ‘I will be back’. This is a love story based on the background of partition. Before the release of this film, Imtiaz participated in a special program of ABP News and apart from his film, he also talked about the ban of actor Ranveer Singh and called him a great actor.

What did Imtiaz Ali say on Ranveer’s ban?

It is noteworthy that Ranveer Singh was banned by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) after leaving the film ‘Don 3’. On this issue, Imtiaz Ali said, ‘God forbid such a day should ever come in the life of any artist. He is a very brilliant and excellent actor. I don’t know everything about this case, but my hope is that this whole matter gets resolved as soon as possible. However, let us tell you that FWICE has lifted the ban on Ranveer by holding a press conference on Wednesday afternoon itself.

Learn about the case in detail?

Ranveer Singh was going to work in Don 3 to be directed by Farhan Akhtar. His casting was done long ago. But, amidst the success of Dhurandhar, he suddenly distanced himself from this film. Farhan told that his production house Excel Entertainment had suffered a loss of Rs 45 crore due to this step. The matter reached FWICE and they were banned under the Non-Cooperation Directive.

When Ranveer sent a legal notice, his attitude became lax.

On Tuesday, news came that Ranveer Singh had taken legal action in this matter, opposing the ban and sent a legal notice to FWICE. This was also confirmed by FWICE Chief Advisor Ashok Pandit. But, on Wednesday, FWICE relaxed its stance and lifted the ban on the actor and called him for talks. Besides, FWICE had also praised the actor of ‘Dhurandhar’.

ABP India at 2047 Conclave: Inflation is being seen across the country for the last several days. Ever since the war between Iran and the US started, there has been a huge increase in the prices of crude oil. The effect of which has been seen in India also. Meanwhile, India’s Ports, Shipping and Waterways Minister, Sarbananda Sonowal recently participated in ABP News’ India at 2047 Conclave. During this, he talked about the number of ships stuck in the Strait of Hormuz as well as the rising prices of petrol and diesel.

How much did India suffer from the war?
During this conclave, when Minister Sarbananda Sonowal was asked how much loss India suffered due to the war between Iran and US, then in response to this question he said, ‘You already know about the geopolitical situation, being an experienced Indian, you also have this data. I don’t want to cite any figures that have no relation with reality. Being the largest transporter in the country, our basic work is to transport goods from one place to another.

Further taking his point forward, he said, ‘People can say anything about the figures, but the reality is that very soon our ships will be able to bring 13 numbers of essentials to India, which will bring essential energy, LPG and cargo.’

Not only this, he also told that he is also ensuring the safety of his Chief Harriers (main carriers) and other Indians. He told that about 30500 Chief Harriers are stranded in this situation, efforts are being made continuously to bring them back.

Toll paid to bring the ship?
Recently there were reports that India had to pay a toll of about 2 million dollars to remove its ships from the Strait of Hormuz. In response to this question, the minister said – ‘No, it is not so, we have not given anything to anyone, this is a wrong report. No one paid any money in our Indian flagship.

How many ships were there before the war?
During this time, Minister Sarbananda Sonowal also told that before the war between Iran and US started, about 136 ships used to leave the Strait of Hormuz every day. So, after the start of the war, sometimes it happens that not even a single ship is able to leave in a day.

Also read: India @2047: Aviation sector gets relief amid inflation, government will provide fund of Rs 10000 crore- Ram Mohan Naidu

What did the minister say on petrol, diesel and gas?
During this conclave, Minister Sarbananda Sonowal also talked about the prices of petrol and diesel. On the price rise, he said, ‘This global crisis is not just for us but for the world, whatever step we have taken according to the situation, it has been taken only for the welfare of the public. We have to move forward understanding the situation of the world. Whatever we are making available to the public. We have taken steps for the public. We are trying hard to get our ships out, the situation is like this, this is a problem of the whole world, ships from different places of the world are stuck, we are not alone.

When the minister was asked about the increase in power of petrol and diesel in the coming time, he gave a vague answer. He said that this situation is such that everyone has to understand. However, he has not clarified whether the prices will increase further in the coming time or not.

Also read: India@2047: Bharti’s policy making is lacking, there is still a culture of distributing free things – Surjit Bhalla.

Actor Manoj Bajpayee also participated in ABP Network’s India@2047 Conclave. Manoj Bajpayee discussed the challenges and responsibilities of playing real life characters in the session ‘Tales Untold: Playing Real Life Hero’. . During this, he also talked about his characters and his upcoming film Governor.

How does Manoj choose his films?
Senior journalist and anchor Dibang had asked Manoj Bajpayee how he chooses his films. To this the actor said, “I don’t choose any character, I choose the script. I choose the character present in that script. It doesn’t matter whether the character is based on a real person, a dead person, or a fictional character whom I have never played before.”

Same type of approach becomes boring for every character
He said, the more I torture myself, the more I enjoy it. I always wonder why you became an actor. Or you have become an actor only for glamour, or you have become an actor because you will get name, money and fame. For me, the journey from village to reaching Delhi is very long, about 18 years. At the time I came, there were not many facilities. That’s why I kept on molding Aya into different characters. If an actor follows the same grammar and uses it for every character, then it becomes boring for me. So I read it very quickly. For me, these become very predictable things about how he will approach, how he will perform.

Manoj lives the character till the end of the film.
Manoj further said, “There are two types of actors, one who invites the character to himself and the other who goes near the character. I believe in going near the character.” He said, “Getting into the character is sometimes like descending into a dark well, but that is the journey I enjoy the most. “Till the film ends, I keep living in the same character.”

What preparation did Manoj do for the upcoming film Governor?
During this, Manoj also talked about his upcoming film Governor. The actor said, “Understanding the economic crisis of 1991 and the responsibility of the RBI Governor was a completely new world for me. Through this character, I got the opportunity to learn and understand not just acting but a lot of things. The most difficult part was to understand the way RBI works and to speak economic terms easily. So much preparation had to be done for this that when I speak, it does not seem as if an actor is speaking, rather it seems as if an economist is actually speaking.”

Manoj further said, “The biggest challenge is to portray a person who speaks less on screen… If you try to capture the accent excessively then you can also offend the people who speak that language.” Manoj also spoke the famous dialogue of the film, “If there are termites in the chair, then a new chair will come, from where will the country bring another one, sir?” “The difference between selling and saving is only one of quantity.”

Manoj told OTT as game change
Manoj Bajpayee called OTT a game changer for him. He said, “During the lockdown, people searched and watched my old work. On OTT, people sit alone and experience the films more deeply. I never looked for commercial elements, always followed the story and character. OTT gave me the audience which perhaps would not have reached my films in the theatre.”
