Now there will be no need to go to different offices for Land Records, Registry and Property Loan Details. People in 19 states of the country will be able to download legally valid online land records sitting at home. According to the Rural Ministry, land related records in more than 97% villages have been digitalized and 97% land maps are available on computers.

In about 85% of the villages, written records have been linked to maps. The government has provided assistance of Rs 1,050 crore to 24 states/UTs in 2025-26. 14 digit ULPIN has been introduced for land. NGDRS has made the property sale and loan process easier. It is applicable in 17 states and banks can do online mortgage verification in 406 districts.
