In the video going viral on social media, it is clearly visible how a wall of yellow dust is rapidly moving towards the city, as if it is not a storm but a sign of destruction. This scary scene has created an atmosphere of panic among the people.

Viral video increased panic

In the video spreading rapidly on the internet, the entire city is seen wrapped in a thick blanket of dust. Visibility became so low that even walking on the roads became difficult. Vehicles were seen moving slowly, while many people stopped midway. This sudden dust storm did not even give people a chance to recover. This scene was seen in different cities of Rajasthan, especially in those places where there is more sandy ground and soil.

There was chaos in the markets

As soon as the storm gained momentum, there was chaos in the markets. Shopkeepers started closing their shops in a hurry, while people on the streets were seen running here and there to save themselves. Due to strong winds, tree branches broke at many places and power supply was also affected. The entire city seemed to come to a standstill for some time. The government has also given an alert regarding Kota, Bundi, Jodhpur, Jaipur and Ajmer and has appealed to the people to stay safe.

Meteorological Department alert issued

The weather department had already warned of strong storm. According to the report, winds can blow at a speed of 60 to 70 km per hour in many areas. Besides, there is also a possibility of heavy rain, hailstorm and lightning at some places. Such weather may persist for the next 4-5 days, hence people have been advised to remain alert and not go out unnecessarily.

One user wrote, “It looks like a scene from a movie.” While the other said, “Day has turned into night.” Many people expressed fear and said that this sight is really scary. Overall, this dust storm of Bikaner has now become a sensation on social media.
