The US embassy shared a post on the social media platform X. In this post, the US embassy said, “The embassy team in India has canceled around 2000 appointments made by Bots. We have a policy of zero tolerance against agents and fixers who violate our scheduling policy.”

Apart from this, the embassy wrote in its post, “We are canceling all the appointments with immediate effect and also suspend all the special rights of scheduling of all the accounts related to them. We will continue our efforts against fraud. We adopt a policy of zero tolerance against fraudsters.”
