Operation Sindoor: Pakistan tried unsuccessfully to attack with drones at different places with the Line of Control (LOC) and International Boundaries (IB) on Thursday (8 May 2025). On the other hand, the Air Defense System Unit of the Indian Army in Udhampur, Samba, Jammu, Akhnoor, Nagrota and Pathankot regions successfully neutralized more than 50 drones during a large -scale Pakistani self -drone operation.

India’s befitting reply
The Air Defense System Unit of the Indian Army thwarted this attack with surgical accuracy. According to sources, Indian air defense intercepted more than 50 Pakistani drones. Anti -drone systems, electronic jammers and thermal scanners were activated in all border areas. Under Operation Sindoor, India also targeted terrorist bases near Lahore and Sialkot.

We also have the strength of self -drone
India has invested a lot on indigenous self -righteous drone technology in the past years. In collaboration with DRDO and private startups, India has developed drones that can penetrate enemy compounds, radars, tanks and command posts. These self -charm drones were also used in Operation Sindoor, which targeted the terrorists target without any ground damage.
