The leader of the Uddhav faction has reacted regarding the India-Pakistan T20 World Cup match. Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson Anand Dubey said that we have repeatedly said that there should not be a match between India and Pakistan. We have repeatedly said that neither India should have a match with Pakistan nor India should have a match with Bangladesh. Still these matches are happening now. Why are they happening, how are they happening. Money will be earned, what will happen in it? We don’t know about it. But we have only one feeling that if blood and water cannot flow together then blood and sports will not flow together.

Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson Anand Dubey said, “On one hand, Pakistan threatens that they will not play matches with India. The country is roaming around with a paisa of beggars and when it feels that by not playing this match, our money will suffer, then it plays and we are sitting as mute spectators. Meaning we will follow it accordingly? He will say that if we don’t play then we will remain silent. He will say that if you play, you will become happy. What is BCCI doing? What is ICC’s Jay Shah doing?

We do not support playing with Pakistan- Anand Dubey

Expressing strong opposition, he further said, “We are very supportive of sports but not of Pakistan. There are many other countries, there is UAE, Australia, South Africa, there are teams from all over the world. We play matches with everyone. Play with Sri Lanka, now Nepal has also started playing, there are many countries but why matches with Bangladesh and Pakistan? On one hand they attack us, destroy the glory of our mothers and sisters and we play matches with them.

Anand Dubey stressed that we should not maintain any relations with Pakistan. Pakistan is a terrorist country. We should not play any kind of match with him. Still, if this match is happening then it is fine. The people of India will ask BCCI. Ours is the first party which used to dig a pitch against Pakistan. Do you remember or not? It is said that every minute of advertisement of this match is sold in crores. Pakistan argues that this tournament is not its domestic tournament, hence the economic loss will be limited.
