Spotify has removed all the songs of Pakistan in India. These songs suddenly disappeared late at night from the platform. These include many popular Pakistan songs like ‘Mand’, ‘Jhol’ and ‘Fasle’ etc. Users were removed from the play-list without any prior notice. The step has been taken after an advisory of 8 May released by the government. The advisory advised the government that all OTT platforms, streaming services and digital mediasts should stop any media content from Pakistan immediately.

This advisory was issued under Part II of Information Technology (Mediator Guidelines and Digital Media Code of Conduct) Rules, 2021. The government said that national security concerns have increased after the tragic attack in Operation Sindoor and Pahalgam on 22 April. It was emphasized by the government to ensure that the platforms do not streaming such content that pose a threat to the sovereignty, integrity, national security or public system of India.

The advisory states, “OTT platforms, media streaming platforms and mediator in India are advised to close web-series, movies, songs, songs, podcasts and other streaming media content with immediate effect, whether they are available on subscription-based models or which originated in Pakistan.” Due to this, changes were also seen in various music platforms. Pakistani actors have been removed from the posters of their Hindi films.

For example, the photo of Mavra Hocken has now been removed from the poster of Sanam Teri Kasam. Now only Harshvardhan Rane is seen in it. Similarly, Mahira Khan has been removed from the views of Raees on Spotify and YouTube music, in which Shah Rukh Khan is now seen. Similarly, the song ‘Budhu Sa Mana’ by Kapoor and Sons is no longer available on YouTube in India as it has Fawad Khan.

Umran Malik Stay Hyderabad IPL 2025: The army of India and Pakistan are face to face, due to which IPL 2025 has been suspended for a week (IPL 2025 Suspend News). Umran Malik is a resident of Jammu, but he has been advised to stay in Hyderabad. On May 10, SRH’s match was scheduled to take place in Hyderabad with Kolkata Knight Riders, for which Umran reached Hyderabad with his team.

According to a Bengali news agency, Umran Malik’s family has advised him not to come home for some time. The reason for this is being told about the continuous firing from Pakistan. After the suspension of IPL 2025, BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla had said that after discussing with all the parties in the coming days, the new schedule will be approved.

Umran Malik is out of IPL 2025

Umran Malik was dropped from the IPL 2025 tournament due to injury. Despite this, he was traveling with the Kolkata Knight Riders team under the ‘Return to Cricket’ program. Umran could not play a single match this season until he was out of the tournament. He has so far taken 29 wickets in his IPL career by playing 26 matches.

There have been a total of 58 matches in IPL 2025 so far, there are 12 matches left in the league stage, after which the playoff phase is to begin. It is being speculated that after the Indo-England Test series, the remaining matches of IPL 2025 can be done. However, it is also worth noting that the tournament has been stopped for just one week.
